I thought of ordering this product 2 weeks ago,but after I have given my credit card details there was this message in red letters that they couldnt processed the order as something was wrong with the credit card !so I just left it at that. Today,Oct.15, I saw that I was charged for the product which they did not confirm payment and yet I was charged by the bank!

I hear ya on them being a scam. They charged me $12.90 for a $2.95 “free trial” and I immediately called, they canceled my account but said I would still be charged for the trial as it was already in process of being sent or some bullshit like that. It was supposed to arrive in 4-7 business days. I didn’t receive anything. I emailed several times, reported them to the BBB (where they already have a bad record, it appears). Now they don’t know if it was sent, promised I wouldn’t get charged again and I’m like shit, either send my free trial which you took my money for or give me my refund since you didn’t even mail anything. They promised a refund if I called and then the person on the phone and her supervisor had “no record of that email” so then I had to fax in a copy of the email… suffice to say, this company is a SCAM! I am going to chargeback if they don’t refund me by the end of the day and report them to the feds and I suggest that everyone else do the same. Don’t let them get away with this scam and steal our money.

This “company” is deceptive on purpose. It skates on thin ice with their terms…it does say you must return the 30 day supply within a time frame or you will be chaged. However, they honestly DO try to inconvenievece customers in ALL ways, which means they’re fraudulent and hence they wont be around very long. They’ll have to come up with some other way to make a dishonest living.
There are a few ways this company is deceptive on purpose:
1) They initially go under the name, “AcaiSlim” on their website. So of course, people are more likely to Google that name in search of any scram references. There are really no scams listed under the “AcaiSlim” name so you feel it’s save to order. They are misleading about their freudulent name. They are trying to keep a clean history. You will see when you get the bottle in the mail, it is really called, “AcaiBurn.” When you type that into google it is a mess of scam links and all kinds or links to reports to the BBB. This is done intentionally to mislead people. “Didn’t mean to inconvience” you my foot.
2) When you are about to submit your order, it clearly says that you are selecting the “14 Day Trial” not 30 day supply. It is only by going on a seperate link to the “Terms and Conditions” that you read the fine print that your 14 day trial IS the 3- day supply. There is no such thing as ordering a 14 day supply at all. You’re ordering the Month supply in fact. You just have to make sure you cancel and send back the unused pills before time is up.
3) After placing your order, you get a creepy phone call asking you to agree to more of something or other. I myself said “No, I do not want anything other than the free trial” twice in a row. I should have known it was a scam when the man on the other line hung up on me after I repeated “NO” about the extra offer. No Thank you or anything.
The only way to bite back is to completely cancel your credit card. That way they are out of luck when they try and charge you more money.
I won that battle and have a free month supply now. Another way to bite them back is to buy a prepaid card and make sure there’s a small balance on it.
