Advantage Vacation Homes (Fraud)

NOTE: Please look below this report for comments by the company, individuals, employees, ex-employees and victims, if there are any. They may contain invaluable and important updates about this case.

I made reservations with Advantage Vacation Homes in Orlando Florida.
This was a five bedroom house very close to Disney and other attractions.
The company wanted a $250.00 fee to cover any damage during our stay. This we would get back after inspection. this is where the problem began. At the end of our stay my family and I cleaned the house and put everything in order. I got a statement from the bank showing that $109.00 was charged for dirty towels. I immediately called a Mr. Negron who is the manager of house cleaning. He said that house keeping took pictures of some towels that were left at the home we stayed at. He sent proof of the dirty towels by e-mail. When I opened the e-mail he sent to me. I noticed that the towels were very dirty, very old, and extremely damaged with dye and other stains, and the floor in that house was white! When I told him that that was the wrong house, (we had brown tile through out the house), he changed his story and said that house keeping brought the dirty towels all the way to his office where he took the pictures. I then replied that this is wrong and a dishonest way of doing business, we never had such awful towels in the house, and I think he used those towels on a regular basis to defraud honest people of their money when they are too far away to do anything about it. He also said that he was protecting the owners of the homes from people like us and he must think of them first. I asked him who is going to protect the consumers from unscrupulous businessmen like you? I may not get my money back but I’m telling everyone who cares to know of my experience with this company :Advantage Vacation Homes.
