Tony Gil from Leesburg, Virginia will befriend you and lure you to give him money for a real estate deal, when in actuality he just takes the money. He has scammed many people, one of which was his wife’s sister for hundreds of thousands of dollars. His wife pretends not to know of his scam/deals, but after this, they acquired many material things. This man pretends to be wealthy and drives around in a mercedes, but he is just using money that he has scammed his many victims. He has a law degree, so he has had many lawsuits where he only has to pay back a portion of what he has taken from people. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!
He has many different names that he goes by, so beware! He is a man in his 60’s and has a young wife. Please check out his many cases in all counties in Virginia, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and the Virginia court system. That system gives the most detail. He usually settle these cases and the victim recovers little to no money at all. Please check both the Civil and District Court websites of these counties for the public records of him….you will be astonished. He has ripped off people for hundreds of thousands of dollars!!! Protect yourself and do not get taken and become another victim!! http://dockets.justia.com/docket/court-vaedce/case_no-1:2008cv00496/case_id-230272/

This con man/scam artist is a bogus fraud and should be living in a hole, not in a nice home and mercedes paid for by dirty money that was stolen by others. His wife is just as guilty. She might not have set up the cons, but she sure does not mind spending the dirty money. When Antony Gil conned his wife’s sister for $500K, she turned around and had a baby with him and then proceeded to spend the money; new mercedes, expensive trips, etc. Wake up people and stay away from this horrible man!! He has taken dozens of people for decades. BEWARE!

You all should be ashamed of yourselves being taken by this low life. I do not know the man but know of him as I am friends with one of his neighbors. Word on the street is that he just takes any money given to him for a “Deal”. It has caused much friction in the community and that family is basically disliked by most as he does not work a real job to live in the community; He just steals from others. His family must be so very proud of his legacy….

Believe me, we all are ashamed of ourselves and feel like stupid losers. Everybody needs to be aware of this crook. You don’t want to believe that someone you socialized with and had welcomed into your home, introduced to your family and friends and even your own children, can be so heartless and evil. We want to embrace people from other cultures, believing we are all simply human, but some people know no moral code and it’s in their DNA to prey on honest citizens. The days of southern hospitality and trusting your neighbor are sadly over.

Although I was taken many years ago, I choose to believe that most people in this world are decent and honest people. I, however, will ALWAYS listen to my sixth sense which I ignored at some point knowing him (back in the early 90’s). Even to this day I have a strong dislike for this man, but believe that life has a way of working out and at the very least, I had learned a very hard lesson. I do know however, that he has left a HORRIBLE legacy for all of his family which will haunt them and him for many years. If justice does prevail in some way, I will be happier.

You are completely correct and I have since been corrected by my friends. It is easy to point the finger and say that you would never fall prey to one of his deals, but until you know the circumstances, I should be unable to judge. Please forgive me. This man is pure evil and his wife is just as guilty, pretending to be unaware of how all of this money just showed up when she was part of half of the civil suits. I again am sorry….

There are people out there who paid a $500 downpayment from Tony Gil for inaugural tickets last January through Craigslist and were never given their money back nor the tickets. He did this to me. Please let your law enforcement know this so he will be investigated in every jurisdiction where he comitted a crime. Thank you

Looks like these two cons/scam artists Tony Gil( Antony Francis Gil) and his wife, Lori Ann Deskins are selling their house and fleeing the area! Probably to start fresh and con others in other counties where they are unknown and can possibly continue their ponzi scheme, predatorial scamming elsewhere. Please spread the word to help protect other innocent people from becoming victims in the future. Here is the link to their house being listed for sale:

PS. Will update with new address for these scammers when it becomes available.
Also, beware that they are scamming on Craigslist as well; IE fake Legg Mason tennis tickets and camera equipment.

It has been 5 months since I sent him $3000 for some camera he was selling. Still nothing, tons of BS stories from him though.
He is a piece of work.
