BankCard Empire Work From Home Scam

NOTE: Please look below this report for comments by the company, individuals, employees, ex-employees and victims, if there are any. They may contain invaluable and important updates about this case.

I was contacted by phone by a company that calls itself, BankCard Empire. They attempted to sell me a box of business cards for $500. Basically what it came down to was that they sent you the business cards which had your own personalized id number. If you went to a restaurant or a store and left your business card there, and the store called the number on the card to purchase a new debit credit reader machine, you got a $500 commission as well as a monthly residual check for a percentage of all of the fees incurred for every use of that machine. What confirmed my suspicions was the fact that these people were adamant about not letting me off of the phone with out them getting my debit number. They tell you that all they want to do is to verify that you have a secured account and that they will not bill you anything at this time. They have since called me over fifteen times from different numbers almost every single time. I hope that by getting the word out to as many people as possible, I will be able to save at least one other person from actually falling for this “company’s” ruse.

It is not our goal to send out Liable Letters to individuals who are making defaming remarks about our company but moreso to work with them to HELP and SATISFY each person as they make themselves available to be contacted. Unfortunately, this forum does not provide adequate information for us to pull a file if indeed you are a legitimate client of Bankcard Empire. We will attempt to make contact via the email that is provided here. All others are asked to contact us at 602-489-7200 ext 232 at BCE Corporate Headquarters. Thanks I got a call today 10/21/08 and they wanted me to sign up right away. Sounded to good to be true

a few months ago I was looking for some type of work from home to suppliment my husband’s and my income. I looked at several companies including BankCard Empire and signed up with them. So far, the issues I had have been resolved very quickly and everyone has been very polite and hospitable.

Sorry to hear others having problems with Bankcard Empire, but I’ve been working with them for a month so far and I have a very good opinion of this company.

  4. DAVE Says:

CASSI HAVE YOU MADE ANY MONEY WITH THEM YET?

  5. Gregory Says:

The credit card processing industry is not a scam. Do you really think major names like Visa and Mastercard allow scam artists to process their cards? This is not a new business idea. Bankcard Empire pays commissions just like any other processor. Hey Dave….are you in the business or do you think money falls of trees for no effort..lol Instead of forming an opinion off negative people who think money falls off trees for NO WORK…look at the over 20000 clients the company has. People want extra income but think they dont have to do anything for it. Is it really that hard to forward potential leads to a company for a great commission in return? I think it is genius and helps Bankcard Empire cut through the red tape of cold calling people and paying out decent commissions in return.. I did the math and I only need ONE deal to get my entire investment back..then it’s 100% profit. Maybe that is why you said it sounds too good to be true.

  6. Frederick Bland Says:

I been with this company for about 2 months. I have some referrals in pending status 2 of them have been rejected. As of now have nothing to show for my investment. The BBB has given a bad rating, I guess that should raise red flag. I have decided to to wait at least one more week for my referrals to be approved before i decide to raise heck

  7. Cassi Says:

I am happy with this compny and I have already started making money. I did have one small issue in the begining but it was resolved fairly quickly. I am sorry to hear of your problems maybe customer service can help you. Dont give up. they are a good company.

    Cassi

  8. Frederick Bland Says:

    Cassi
How many APPROVED referrals do you have?

  9. kathy Says:

got a call, with Q from a woman on the line, “did I request some info about a bussiness opertunity online?” My response, well “mybe.’ “what is this about?”
she wanted me to lisen to a 7 min.informative taped message, about being an affiliate by selling credit card processing machines to bussinesses., that would enable the owners to handle Visa, Mastercard,Discover and american Express. The compensation would be $300 to 500, for each machine that a bussiness owner, by your solicitation, placed in his bussiness of operation. And depending on which package you the affiliate had signed on for-initially, the Platinum package for $295 or the Starter package,$195 and (that being reduced to $150 by the time I was done speaking with them.)that would be your commission. Sounded great.
Lots of ways to make big money here! Initial signup for equipment bonus as already mentioned and a percentage of 1% residual income of sales to that machine, I think per monthto you the affilitate, then the 3rd way for profit, is to sign the bussiness owner being for a loan, at unbeatable rates for bussiness owners, another commission in my pocket, etc. And did you know that the bank that this company, BANK CARD EMPIRE, or BCE, does bussiness with the bank HSBC in Japan. AND..
they allow a bussiness loan to the bussiness owner of up to 250% of the sales that a bussiness shows per month.( I questioned, was that loan amount based on a typical bussiness model. Sure- the reponse.) All kinds of other perks for bussinesss owners when you go on their website too.
I asked about advertizing and marketing this product, as an affiliate, and the answer – BCE would provide me with telephone coaches, and a free website they said and (they were waiving a $40 hosting fee a month for me.) And I was to be provided with free bussiness cards.
Additionally there would be at 18 other streams of income with BCE.
This sounded really good, but I kept asking questions, such as, where can I get a hard copy of this legal agreement? they again directed me to their site, where I saw – (as someone else in this column put it) a bare-bones agreement.
i also didnt like the fact, that although they gave a money back, satisfaction guaranteed, it wasnt for 12 months, and it was 1-2x your original investment, of say the $295.
I asked why not sooner than 12 months. I didnt like the sound of that.
They also insured me that I would get this starter packet in the mail and 1099 forms and I could be up online with them in a day.
I spoke with at least 3 different poeople and I was on the phone for more than an hour, and now I can only say that I’m glad that I wasted their time, but also sorry that I let them waste mine. Glad that was the end of it
Lesson learned- dont trust somebody that you dont know that you have no legal protection agaist recovery for monies exchanged, no way of a guarantee, and which sounds too good to be true anyhow!
I also appreciate this site and that I was able to check out others comments. It helped me to not commit to anything foolish.

  10. monique Says:

Appreciated this site. I just got a call from one of the agents of bankcard empire today and was given the offer of becoming one of their agents making 500 dollars for every terminal made and then a percentage from every sale that goes through that terminal. They provide all the training and stuff. The only charge to me was 250 dollars and I could pay just 125 now and then pay the rest by the end of the year. They told me that I would have to wait for my cheque at the end of the month. I also had to pay 19.95 a month for hosting the website, they would set it up for me etc, sounded interesting, but I have seen enough with these phone calls that I have gotten a little smarter by checking to see if there is anything online written about them. So here I am! It is too bad that we live in a generation where you can’t trust anybody. Anyway, thanks for the post on this business.

  11. uche Says:

This is not a scam…..what it is..once your name is on a database of opportunity seekers or you signed up to receive calls from potential opportunities, you have these professional agressive closers contact you..and wanting you to make the purchase that day…they get a commission for closing…I personally employ such closers for my business..

Rest assured, it is not a scam

  12. uche Says:

It is not just bank card empire, they have several businesses one is Cornerstone Mortgages…same spill

  13. Ronnie Says:

Do not be decieved by these people Bankcard Empire is a rip off they tell you when they first call you can start making money the next day. lie no. 1 they tell you that they will give you a website lie no.2 they tell you you get all this free training lie no.3 they tell you all of this is for 495. dollars lie no.4 they tell you all the advertising is also included lie no. 5 then they call the next day wanting 14000. dollars for advertising callblasts. but they will guarntee you will make more than you have invested. lie no6. you will never hear from them again until you call them. Do’nt expect to make a penny. If anyone is willing we need to start a classaction Law suite against Bankcard Empire.

  14. Joshua Says:

I got called today by them. As I was bringing up their site there was a Fraud Report directly under the link to get to the site. It took me 20 min. to insist on getting a straight answer on my inital investment, with a minimum of $90 I shut them down and told them I was not intrested, of course they tried to talk fast and get me to sign up. If it looks bad and figuring our economy I saved myself the time and hassel You need to be direct with them and stand your ground.

  15. Becky Says:

This is not a scam. I have joined Bankcard Empire and find them very helpful and prompt. They are not making all those lies some of you are stating in prior emails. The training material is extremely thorough. The website is free. The referral site if fast and simple. I look forward to a very prosperous and healthy relationship with Bankcard Empire.

  16. dee stevens Says:

It seems to me this company has different charges for initial sign-up, web hosting fees, and coomission % earned. That to me is a sign of dishonesty. I received a call from them today, spoke with 3 different people. Sounded too good to be true. I refused to be rushed into anything (which they certainly tried to do); told them I wanted to think it over and to call me tomorrow. I immediately started researching on the internet and thank God I did. I have an answer for them tomorrow.

  17. Darrel Says:

Hi. Ronnie or whoever…want to start a class action lawsuit? Let me know. I will be glad to be the coordinator/spokesperson. Contact me. such88@hotmail.com

  18. Tasha Says:

Glad I found this site. I just got off the phone with Bankcard Empire and feel like I was totally disrespected when I told them that I would not make a rush decision today. The guy – he said his name is Jim Vervaet – told me that the platinum level of $195 was “today only” and that if I waited then it would be $2,700 to join! Then that’s not the business for me!

  19. gary Says:

I have made a very large mistake and I am trying to get a refund but it seems hopeless. Why cant we have the State of Az put these people in jail for stealing.
can anyone help me with this

  20. BJ Says:

These people have taken my brother for $8,750. They go under 5 different business names, are listed with 3 different addresses in Phoenix, Arizona. Have a 100% non-refundable clause in their contacts. Steps to take now!!!
    1. Contact your credit card company and do a CHARGEBACK to Bankcard Empire, Keep doing this over and over.
    2. Contact the Arizona Office of the Attorney General – Terry Goddard and file a complaint, either online or by mail. (CONSUMER FRAUD ACT A.R.S. 44-1521) 1275 W. Washington, Phoenix, AZ 85007 Phone: (602) 542-5763 or (800) 352-8431.
    2. Contact the Office of the Attorney General in your home state, if you are not from Arizona, and file a complaint.
    3. Contact the BBB located in Phoenix, Arizona, 4428 N. 12th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 and file a complaint. Phone: (602) 264-1721
    4. Post you story on http://www.ripoffreport.com.
    5. Don’t let them intimidate you and keeping calling them asking for a refund. Don’t threaten them with a lawyer (too costly for you and they know that you probably won’t follow through because of the cost).
    6. Go to the PEOPLE, tell friends, post blogs on the internet on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, tell anyone you think might be helped by letting them know that this company is bad news.

My brother does not have the acumen to be involved in this kind of business, or the common sense to know when he is being taken for a ride. My sister and I found out about this mess when our 83 year old Mother called crying about our brother being in financial trouble. Take action and protect your family, this company doesn’t care once they get their money, you are on your own.

  21. BJ Says:

If you have your telephones registered under http://www.donotcall.gov, companies are not allowed to call you to solicit a business transaction. If they initiated the call (called you first) you can go after them by filing a complaint with the Federal Trace Commission (FTC) Consumer Sentinel Network. Call toll-free 1-877-382-4357 or submit a complaint online or mail them your complaint at:
    National Do Not Call Registry
    Attn: DNC Program Manager
    Federal Trade Commission
    600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.
    Washington DC 20580

If you haven’t registered you home and cell phones with the Do Not Call registry (www.donotcall.gov), it is in your best interest to do so to stop telemarketers from contacting you. I did this for my elderly mother, my in-laws, as well as for ourselves.

  22. joe Says:

i to have had dealings with this company with no results. i call mike martin he tells me things are looking good. for 13 months things are looking good no money no web site 2500 dollars but things are looking good. what do you think????????

  23. judy Says:

Thank you so much for all of your postings. This has been very beneficial to myself and husband. We will pass the word in Washington to stay away from this company!

  24. WORST NIGHT MARE FOR JUSTICE Says:

THIS COMPANY IS A SHAME AND A SCAM THEY GET YOU TO BY IN TO THE MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY, TRY TO GET YOU TO INVEST IN THE COSTLY CALL BLAST SYSTEM THAT NO ONE GETS PAID WITH AND IF YOU GET ANY REFERRALS THEY SOME HOW GET REJECTED THE AFFILIATES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ANY MONEY BUT THE SALES MEN DO IF THERE ARE ANY AFFILIATES OUT THERE GETTING PAID LEAVE A TELEPHONE NUMBER WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW WITH PROOF. UNTIL I GET PROOF I SUGGEST ALL THE PEOPLE WRONGED BY THIS COMPANY COME TOGETHER AND FORM A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THEM

  25. BJ Says:

One of the Bankcard Empire associates (Greg Mason) called my elderly mother (my brother is using her address and phone number for contact information as he is a trucker, and on the road all the time) and told her that if my brother did not sign the “Dispute Resolution” paperwork that Bankcard Empire had sent, that they would take my brother to court. She called me very upset, and I called Bankcard Empire (Russ Harris) and stated that if they ever called my mother and tried to harass and threaten my mother again, they would have another problem on their hands besides practicing fraudulent business. It is a federal offense to harrass or try to intimidate people over the telephone under the Communications Decency Act 47 U.S.C. 230, and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. I said the only thing my brother could be taken to court for is stupidity and gullibility.

If you are involved with this business have you been provided with access to an online status report to view details of referrals? Bankcard Empire states in their Affiliate Marketing Partner Program that they are to provide this to you. Breach of Contract if they are not doing so.

Class Action Lawsuit sounds great but you have to make note of all conversations, make copies of all paperwork, and prove that that they knowingly committed fraud. If you signed on to this program without doing the research first, and signed the papers they provided, you were saying you understood everything they were offering. Why would anyone pay money out their pocket and give it to the company to help advertise the company??!! These people have quite a racket, and people are falling for it.

  26. BJ Says:

At the bottom of the Bankcard Empire web page they list that they are a Registered ISO/MSP of RBS Citizens, Providence RI. This is a bank in Rhode Island that I contact and let them know they might want to investigate this company.

RBS Citizens has a Code of Ethics and Conduct policy that is pages long, and several of the things that they do not like is business that act irresponsible or illegally. Contact the bank and file a conplaint. Their website is http://www.citizensbank.com and make it to the attention of Deidre Wilson, Corporate Ethics Officer, or call them as I did. Ms. Wilson said she had not heard of Bankcard Empire.

The phone number is (216) 277-8585. Let’s hit them where it hurts, the financial institution that provides them financing. Or maybe that is another one of their falsehoods listing RBS Citizens as if they were legitimate.

  27. Lisa Says:

I am so glad I looked up this company. I was one who fell for there fast talking and signed up. But thankfully they needed a security code for my credit card which after about 5 phone calls in one day I told them to call me tommorrow and we would fix it all up.
Now reading what I have read on a few websites they will not be getting any money from me.
I am very thankful I was able to sleep on it and make the right choice.

  28. Enough is enough Says:

LISA you escaped by the skin of your teeth, that is for sure.

I wish some of the “Positive” posters to this board (like CASSI and GREGORY) would update us on how they are doing now.

My phone just keeps on ringing with this “offer”

  29. Fraud Investigator Says:

They are forbidden to sell anything in Illinois through cease and desist order: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/securities/administrative_actions/
    2008/october/epiccommerce_so2cd.pdf

  30. TJ Says:

Ever heard of the results group or T.R.G, Google search, When this person called from Bankcard empire, IT WAS THE SAME EXACT THINGS THAT T.R.G People told me 2 years back, you know where the T.R.G people are now JAIL, they were living high taking college kids money. driving Ferrari’s and living in million dollar homes…i am a victim of the T.R.G i got most of the money back from the FBI…This company is the SAME DON’T TRUST ANYONE THESE “let us open an website for you and you only pay $495 and 2 days later they call saying to advertise your business you have to pay $2500 or $3500. I can say everyone send a complaint to the FBI on line fraud investigation, that what i did with T.R.G, like the other millions of people.

  31. Lee Says:

    Hey all,
Yea, I bought a thousand dollars worth of crap known as a marketing program. Yea, it’s my fault, I should have known it was too good to be true, but i was just trying to make a buck for my wedding. But now I’m wondering if I can go to work for legit companies because I signed their little no compete clause deal. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  32. Self Employed Says:

Today, I received a call from this company. Unlike the initiator of this series of comments, I took control immediately when they began to “qualify” me and refused to give any information about myself until it was clear that this was something of interest to me.

While I was listening to the 4-minute tape, a sales person interrupted it to inform me they were a supervisor and would be handling me after I had finished. I found this rude but went with it.

I asked a clear question: “What does it cost to get into the business?” I was given an answer of $169. Later in the conversation, the supervisor tried telling me that, if I didn’t sign up on the first call, the cost of entry would escalate to $495. I informed him that he had given a misleading answer at the onset. Of course, he did a little tap dance on that news but that’s his cross to bear.

Another tactic that was used was the “fear of loss” statement. This fellow tried to seduce me by telling me only 10 representatives from my state would be accepted into the program and they already had nine. This news did not ruffle me. I held my ground saying that, if the 10th position had been filled by the time I completed my due diligence, it would be a loss I was willing to accept.

I’ve only begun to research the company and know that people who fail to grasp the concepts of owning a home business will always complain if they don’t make magical money without working it. The most disturbing news about this forum is the wide array of start-up costs listed, none of which agree with what I was told earlier.

I’ll proceed on my due diligence journey and thank the participants of this one for their comments. Risk is part and parcel of any investment but integrity seems lacking if different offers are made by different groups within the same corporate umbrella.

  33. Char Says:

I was just contacted by a woman named Kathy, who tried to refresh my memory that I had requested work-at-home information (maybe a week or a few months ago?). Not remembering was skipped over and I was told about the opportunity to help set up credit card terminals. I listened to the tape, and Fred Thompson- Sr. Acct. Manager in Pheonix- came on to speak with me. I was given the amount of $1,000. for the premium package, but then it was reduced to $399.00 if I signed up today. I was to get the year of coaching and pay $19.95 a month for the website. I would make $500.00 commission for each set-up plus the residual income. One set-up would cover the cost of my joining, yet, if I had not made back the start up cost after 12 months, all I needed to do was show that I had advertised my business “in my own way” at least once a month for a year, and my full start up cost would be refunded. I was told that Fred’s mom was like me- a stay home mom and grandmother- and she was also trying to find a way to semi-retire and have more time with her grandchildren but still help out with expenses. I asked if she was doing this credit terminal set-up and was told that no, she wasn’t interested in the money- she’s a social worker. Say what??? I told him that I was looking at all the negative remarks and warning on the internet as was not interested after all. He said I could look up Walmart and there would be the same comments about it. I told him it would be one thing for me to go into an adventure of my choosing and lose money, but I didn’t want someone calling me and scamming me out of my money; I hung up. The thing is, he originally made it sound so plausible that I really wanted to consider this as a serious opportunity; my common sense just wouldn’t let me buy it. My advise to anyone considering this is to not be pressured, say you need to sleep on it or talk it over with your whatever, and research the company- and I don’t care how long they say they have been in business. Time doesn’t mean they change and become reputable, it just means they continue to perfect their con routine, scam more people out of their money, and are not concerned by how what they do affects other’s lives.

  34. Jan Says:

I too have made the foolish mistake and given these people my money. I was given a start of price of $99,but somehow they ended up charging me 150.99 plus the 19.95 monthly website fee! From what I’m reading I gather I will probably never see the start of fee back, but my question is how do you stop them from charging the 19.95 fee every month. I have signed no paper, but cannot find anyone to talk to me either!! Am I just out this money??

  35. Dennis Jarosz Says:

The thing all of you have to do as consumers is check with the BBB, I did and the company has a rating of F, the lowest you can get, they are not even registered with the BBB.

Their are many scams and unfortunately I was caught in one, but rest assured that your bank, will go to war for you and you must dispute right away.

Educate before you dissipate with your money!

  36. JM Says:

I too have been scammed by this company. DO not let them get away with it. I filed a complaint with AZ Attorney General’s Office and aslo took BJ advice in her post of Feb. I contact Citizens Bank and spoke with Felicia she had me fax some items to her and apparently they are already investigating these people. The more people that call and take action the better we will be and maybe prevent someone else from being scammed.

  37. Cindy Says:

I just got off the phone with these guys but I was ready for them. I received a call earlier today from another one of these companies which i listened to and then told them I wasn’t interested and had to get back to work. It sparked me to do some research. I’m already familiar with the BBB and wonders of a Google search so when I got the call tonight from another company I was ready. I asked for a copy of the contract be emailed to me, which Bankcard Empire did, the previous company refused. But when I asked to have all the information presented to me in writing via email I was shut down with the response that if they sent all that to me I could just steal it and do something on my own instead. Which is laughable like I’m going to contact Visa and say I want to market your products for you if you pay me these %’s. All the while being insulted for not jumping on this amazing opportunity. Finally, I told him that I get business details and contracts in writing because that is how sound business decisions are made and that is what protects me as a consumer as well. His response was that all calls are recorded and monitored by the FDA (lol the food and drug administration) i called him on that and he tried to back peddle but at that point my response was thank you but NO THANK YOU. (like i ever would have said yes since in the time I was on the phone with them I had already checked BBB and read all of these previous replies)

Trust the BBB they gave Bankcard Empire an F. They tried to explain it away saying it has to do with the number of complaints but if you look up real companies such Walmart(evil empire) they have an A+ rating with even more complaints, heck even “Amway” has an A+ rating. Always check the BBB website. They don’t give companies a rating lower B- without a damn good reason.

  38. bernie t Says:

I Was Taken In Buy These Scammers frist It was only$200, To get into it, then latter they needed only $1,500 more to put me on a Call Blaster and they sold me 150 wallet and 150 poster size which i never got, and know they will never call me back so I have been scrued out of $1,700 and they tried to get me on anoughter scam which i did not bite on know they will not even call me. We need to take thes scammers DOWN before they take any one down.

  39. BJ Says:

JM – I’m glad my advice helped. I filed complaints with the BBB – Arizona, The Attorney General – Arizona, The Attorney General – Nebraska (where my brother and mother live) and I contacted the Attorney for the Secretary of State – Illinois. Now for an update on the Bankcard Empire saga.

    1. Marci Bennett, Senior Legal Consulate with Bankcard Empire called my on February 27, 2009 about my BBB complaint. Basically, she said that my complaint was not valid, but apologized for Bankcard Empire phone staff for upsetting my mother. To explain, someone from Bankcard Empire called trying to reach my brother at my mother’s home. My brother wasn’t there, so my mother took a message. The message was that if my brother didn’t sign the dispute resolution paperwork that Bankcard Empire had mailed to him, that Bankcard Empire would have to take my brother to court. This upset my mother very much. They told my mother that my brother had to sign the papers because they had money waiting for him in his commission account, but couldn’t give it to him until he signed the papers. I spoke to her shortly after this and tried to tell her that my brother hadn’t done anything illegal, and they were just trying to intimidate them into signing the papers. I filed a complaint about harassment and making false statements. Of course, Russ Harris and Marci Bennett deny any wrong doing. The BBB closed the complaint because they said that the Bankcard Empire had made a good faith effort to resolve the issue.

    2. While talking with Marci Bennett on the telephone, I asked her about the “Summary Order to Cease and Desist” practicing business in the state of Illinois. She said she didn’t know anything about this and that Bankcard Empire was operating in the state of Illinois as of February 27, 2009. The “Summary Order to Cease and Desist” was filed by the Attorney for the Secretary of State – Illinois in October 2008. Basically they were operating in Illinois illegally. I called the Attorney for the Secretary of State – Johan Schripsema, and he was very interested in Ms. Bennett’s comments to me. If you live in the State of Illinois and are having problems with Bankcard Empire or if they have contacted you to set up some kind of business, please call or write Mr. Schripsema. (618) 253-2007. Address: Attorney for the Secretary of State: Johan Schripsema, Illinois Securities Department, 350 Seright, Suite C, Harrisburg, Illinois 62946

    3. I have heard from the Attorney General of Arizona and Nebraska by letter, and am waiting for further information.

  40. Scott Says:

Any one who is posting that says they are making money from this scam are the scammers themselves. Don’t believe those who say they are making money or have resolved their problems. It is a total lie! Don’t be taken in by the “good” posts.

  41. Richard Says:

It really makes me laugh to see the people talk about BCE. What they need to say is “I want to sit on my fat ass at home and watch t.v. and do nothing and I want someone to send me money all the time for doing nothing! Like a lifetime Obama package! I also requested information from online so I could do some work from home but I lied I just want to sit around and watch Dr. Phil and eat Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.”
I know times r tough right now and there is money out there to be made its just people dont want to go find it because they are lazy. and the package you get is not a box of just busniess cards like this guy who i would like to say is as smart as shit rolling down a hill, it was full of all sorts of usefull info to get me going and I had a coach that contacted me and helps me and I am able to contact any time! I am make very good money, very well pleased and all I have to say is he probably will get his wish “sitting on his ass and having someone send him free money” ITS CALLED WELFARE! So good luck to all you people who thought you knew.

  42. TS Says:

    Richard,

Your rant does not help. Why not assist with good information? You can do that with facts and details. You say you are making good money. That would be news to share. Tell us how much effort you are putting in to make the money you are bringing in.

How are you being successful? Are you “pounding the pavement”, using web advertising, or dropping off cards during your day-to-day routine? Have you purchased additional support/advertising from BCE? Are you willing to be a reference for BCE as a success story?

Checking the BBB website – it is true that BCE has an “F” rating. BBB says “The grade represents BBB’s degree of confidence that the business is operating in a trustworthy manner and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns.”

What has made you experience so different?

  43. BJ Says:

Richard it is you who are funny, in a sad sort of way. Sure my brother who was taken in by BCE is sitting on his “behind”, but it’s not watching Dr. Phil and eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. He is a long-haul truck driver, who has been driving all over the United States for the last 20 years, delivering the food that you put into your rolling down a hill “potty” mouth. Perhaps you are making your money by the company taking money from the uninformed, and passing it on to you, the smartest person on earth. Bernie Madoff did the same thing, and look where he’s headed. Get off your pedestal, you’re giving the rest of us a neckache.

  44. Frederick Bland Says:

This is for message is for Richard. I really don’t know the experiences you have had with BCE. I can only tell you that I have been with this company for 6 months and have nothing to show for it. I have about 15 referrals in back my off office and most of them have been rejected.
I have 4 in pending status that have been there for at least a month or MORE; so if you have had a real money making experience with this company I would really like to hear about it. I am not calling this company of scam, but the fact is it has a bad rep. Your progress in this business basically rest on BCE and that makes me worried. If they can’t close at least one of these referrals leave me with some questions. My number is 240-464-8482

  45. Shanieta Says:

My question is for any one who has paid money for the ad or marketing for BCE is that how was yor return, as I listen more to the compliants when this company scam you or your family memebers do you determine that by no return on the so call investment that they suggest you take to really make money with them? Please I have already accept by paying but i know i can reverse the charges with my bank and I’m active in my community so I dont want my name slandered because of this company.

  46. Ruby Says:

I was contacted by Bankcardempire and was told the price was $221. I find it interesting that the price seems to be different, depending on the sales person making the call. I thought it sounded like something I could get into so I signed up for it. I was sent the training material and the business cards. I was contacted for money to pay for advertising. I said all I could spare was $500 and he said all that would pay for would be email blasts and something else which I forgot. He wanted more money as he said that wasn’t a lot to spend on advertising. In the meantime they set up a coaching session for me but no one contacted me for the session.

I started getting emails from someone who was supposed to me my agent and he was telling me to do the training sessions which I had already done. I was told in the emails that I should give out the cards to businesses in my area. Hello! If I am paying them for advertising, why am I doing all the footwork? Eventually I got worried about the company and checked them out through the BBB. I also saw all the compaints that were lodged against them. However, it did say that most of them had been resolved.

After a few weeks, I was contacted again about money for advertising. I told him I was concerned because of all the complaints against them and he also said Wal-Mart gets complaints too. He did commend me for checking on the section about resolving the complaints. He said I should call about the training session I should have received. I told him it was kind of like throwing good money after the bad to put more money into advertising when I had seen no results so far.

I told him that I had received no results from the $500 I had spent so far. He said it takes several months to see results. I don’t have several months. The money I have spent with them is now needed to make my very high mortgage payment. I was hoping to get some money coming in before I would need it for the mortgage. I have now determined that the only people making any money with this company are the ones selling the program.

  47. Jessie Says:

I joined Bankcard Empire last fall and have recieved nothing in return. I actually called my credit card company to dispute the charge but they got BCE on the phone and I had to talk to some guy who said it takes time to make money. Even the credit card company was agreeing with him. I am going to keep disputing until I get results. I am out $5000 for advertising and where is the proof? I feel like such an idiot and I will never be scammed again. Has anyone had results getting some money back? Has anyone been successful with a charge back?

  48. Angela Says:

I got a call from these folks today – they were trying to reach my boyfriend b/c he had requested info from them. First, it sounded too good to be true, but what really put me off was the high pressure sales technique the fellow used: “there are only 2 openings in your area so you need to do this asap… do you have $150 you can invest now?” That’s always a bad sign.

  49. Della Says:

They got me also. I just signed up and just now received their package in the mail. I was looking up my website when I came across all of these scam reports. I just hope I can get my money back. They said the same stuff to me that they seem to say to everone else. I usually am very cautious but they got me at a weak moment. Alas my fault.
I will be ready for them the next time they call though. Thanks for all of your comments.

  50. RGW Says:

I have read all the posts here and I decided that I needed to post myself. First of, Richard, there are many folks out there that aren’t lazy and looking for a free handout. I’m sure that most are people who are genuinely trying to earn an income because they lost their job or are trying to suppliment their current income. These people are willing to put some effort and money into their business. Sadly there are many “vultures” out there who prey on these people. These “vultures” have no conscience or morals and will gladly steal money from their unsuspecting victims. These scam artists seem to be prevalent in the State of Arizona and that is because of some old state laws that actually protect them from procecution. Unfortunately these scam artists give most people the perception that most home based internet businesses are scams. Secondly I wanted to tell everyone who has posted here something about BCE that they may not know.

I unfortunately signed up with another scam campany located in Arizona called Grandgold/Karisma Marketing. I spent a total of $8,399.00 for them to set me up with a website and for advertising. This happened just under a year ago. I have not made even a penny with this. I was told by an ex-employee that my money never went towards advertising. They have consistantly denied my demands for a refund. I have contacted various agencies but have had very little success.

Around July of 2008 Grandgold contacted me and said that they had become affiliated with a company called BankCard Empire and that they would redirect my advertising to a new BCE website that they created for me. At that time my stepson owned and operated three kiosks at two local shopping malls. He sells sunglasses at these kiosks. He needed a business loan so I told him about BCE. As you all know, BCE heavily promotes business loans as an option to those merchants that purchase their credit card machines. They claim that they do not charge any interest to the merchant for these loans. Instead they charge a fee which is collected from the merchant over a period of time and a portion of this fee is collected each time the merchant’s customers swipe their credit cards until the loan is paid in full. My stepson needed a loan for $20,000.00. I was shocked when he told me that BCE was going to charge him a fee of $8,000.00 for this loan of $20,000.00. That is the equivalent of nearly 45% interest! I don’t know about the rest of you but I think that is a ripoff and I was ashamed to be a part of BCE. Stay away from BankCard Empire and Grandgold/Karisma Marketing if they call you!

  51. Critch Says:

The thing about all this is, Bankcard Empire seems to have multiple heads. I signed on with Advanced Merchant Capital (an affiliate of BCE) in November for $495. I then put out $2000 for a Callblast. Nothing happened. Not even the callblast reports they said would arrive in my email inbox every month. Finally I decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company because nothing had happened. Russ from BCE called to get it “resolved” and said that they couldn’t do anything to make me satisfied until that dispute was cancelled. I told him that if i didn’t receive the callblast reports that i would reopen the dispute. He was fine with it. Called the credit card company, they said that once it was closed in that manner, it could not be reopened. so we got off the phone, and he sent me one of the callblast reports. we cancelled the dispute. That was about 3 weeks ago. And I haven’t heard a word from them since.

  52. Critch Says:

Also, if that class-action lawsuit hasn’t gone through yet, I would totally be on board.

  53. L.R. Says:

I got 5 calls from these people today. 5 times in one day is pretty rude. I am a hardworking student and don’t have time for a 15 minute sales pitch every time they call. And each person I talked to was different, and gave me different infromation. I thought it sounded like a scam and checked online to find that there are numerous complaints about this company. I would recommend that you check up on them before you trust them with your money.

  54. Sharon Says:

I stupidly signed on with this company as well. Hindsight is 20/20 so they say and I could kick myself for not googling before I gave out my debit card number. I’m lucky..I’m only out $163 so far..This guy calls me tonight and tells me about the call blast to advertise the website..yeah right..wanted another $3000 so I let him have it, and he hung up on me..Great. I will probably never get my moola back, but I really have learned a valuable lesson..DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH BANK CARD EMPIRE…THEY ARE RATS!!!

  55. Heather Says:

I stupidly signed on too, 6 mos ago. Marketing guy pressured the heck out of me. I am out of my parttime job because of a injury to my back. He just kept on saying I know you will make such and such by this time, he had the numbers all worked out, except he was wanting me to max out all of my credit cards. Of course I said no way, But I still did sign up for a large amount, large, large, of course I new I wouldnt be doing a whole lot of advertising myself because of my back. and I really needed some money coming in, because I wasnt able to go back to my job just yet and knew it was gonna be awhile. but if there is anything we can do count me in too, contact me mybabyboyzachary@aol.com or 9047079217 thanks,

  56. chuck Says:

i have been talking to a rep from vancard she has convinced my wife that this is it after reading these comments i am saved thank you all and to anyone out there making some sucess of this we need to see some real numbers after all this is a business proposition not a write off

  57. Salem Says:

I have read hours of reviews on BCE, which along with my own experiences having joined with them in the past two months, helps me come to a few drown out points and conclusions:

    CONS:

BBB rating: F (79 complaints and currently in two(?) law suits.

It costs a lot to join and cost varies depending on who or what ‘bargains’ go on.

Little or no assistance for website charge questions

NO one (in over 100 reviews read so far) has listed any sucess of making even a dollar by the “Call/Email Blasts” (is some one has, then please make a big emphasis for the rest of us to know!)

The coaching assistants seem to recommend more call/email blasts and don’t offer much initial focus to other methods or approaches to advertisements, leads, or referrals.

Random, frequent, or odd circumstance phone calls have been mentioned by some.

    Neutral points:

BCE currently claims there are other ‘companies’ or individuals that have misrepresented BCE with fraud and scams that have cost them at least $200K.

The assistant coaches sometimes call back and give some help but generally leave this up to the ‘agents’ responsibility.

    PROS:

BCE is a real company with lots of staff and employees.

They do real business and service lots of merchant accounts

The services offered to merchants are highly competitive.

There are a good number of posted reviews who have said they did not participate in or did not have success with the call/email blasts, but had, with moderate efforts, made some good legitimate income by personal advertising or business searching.

They do offer two personal (duplicated w/ agent ID) websites for referals and to see progress on account sales in progress.

All staff and employees answer very tough questions and seam to be generally polite, friendly, and professional.

    Conclusions:

The company is having some poor management, coaching, and sales techniques that are irregular and seem to squeeze what ever upfront money they can get out of home-base business searchers (before they up and quit on them).

The call/email blast marketing is a joke (it might work but haven’t read on any one saying it has been effective at all). Don’t expect to get too much help from the coaches who try to sell you on more of these.

However, there is real business to be done with BCE and their referrals, website, and closing-the-sale system. People can make genuine incomes from home, but agents should do their own advertising, referrals, and leads generating systems.

  58. Jeremy K. Says:

All of you people that sign up and dont realize what are getting, can go to hell. You have to understand the that once you spend money you have to make the business work, and if the business(you) fail then you deserve to lose your money. The opportunity is there you have to make it happen. And for the old ladies that are getting signed up hang up the damn phone and dont give your credit card out to 20 year old kids over the phone. Think people we are smarter then apes please dont make us all look like idiots.

  59. Donna L Says:

I’m so glad all of you posted your comments and saved me from losing $495.00. You’re all right, I do believe this is another scam! How can they make .4% or .8% and we make 1% on every transaction? When it sounds too good to be true, it really is! They will continue to call you up with other home based businesses, do yourself a favor and just hang up! Find or create your own homebased business, you’ll be alot safer and save yourself alot of time, aggrevation, and money!!!! And when you find a positive comment above how do you know it’s not one of them writing it? Think about it!

  60. Bob Greer Says:

Mentally disabled people losing 5 grand on a credit card> WOW! People spending money and it “happened so fast!” WOW AGAIN! Did someone reach through the phone and TWIST YOUR ARM or MOVE YOUR LIPS to give your information? Why is it that the people who CRY THE LOUDEST DO THE LEAST when it comes to home based businesses? Continue to make excuses in life for your failures and continue to DO NOTHING! This company has First Class Training and coaching IF you want to give it a go! I saw a nice infomercial type tour of their facilities and watched three different training videos. Did anyone look at their website? I just watched a video where this company GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY every quarter to great non profit causes. There is a press room section right on their homepage! Take a look a ththeir YOU TUBE channel http://www.youtube.com/bankcarddonations. But here is the issue folks…I dont see a single complaint against Bankcard Empire for what they REALLY do which is processing!. You better look a little closer at what you bought. Bankcard Empire is the CREDIT CARD PROCESSING COMPANY. They do NOT sell all the marketing tools to help a person get their home based business off the ground. While people on here claim to call them a rip off and say they shouldnt charge to be an affiliate…let me ask you this..what FREE AFFILIATE program pays you $500 Per leased machine? It is pure genius that a processing company lets the public generate WARM LEADS and then DO ALL THE SELLING and SIGNING UP and LEASING OF MACHINES then PAY THE AFFILIATE the BIG COMMISSIONS just for submitting a lead and letting them go to work. And as far as the “start up fee”..YOU GET THAT BACK AFTER YOUR FIRST SALE! As they told me..IT ONLY TAKES ONE. If you cant get ONE Customer then you are just a lazy person who should just work an hourly job and never amount to anything.IF you spent thousands of dollars for marketing programs, why are you on here COMPLAINING about it? Why aren’t you gettting off your asses and following their excellent training program and FULL SUPPORT. I think it is funny how people complain yet BANKCARD EMPIRE sends out all their business information and training packets for FREE after another company markets for them. The last time I checked, you cant mail packages for free. So a start up fee is more than fair. They did MILLIONS of DOLLARS in transactions last year alone. Do you really think FEDERALLY REGULATED BANKS and Visa or MAstercard would allow a “fraudulant” company to do business with them? You bought a biz op to be able to market merchant accounts and the processor is Bankcard Empire. There are even FRAUDULENT companies out there saying they are “related” to Bankcard Empire trying to sell you marketing products. BEWARE. The easiest way to check out who they are is contacting Bankcard Empire and finding out if the people who contacted you are a legitmate THIRD PARTY Licensed Office. Get this “lynch mob” attitude out of your head and get some customers. Pretty simple fix if you ask me. Its one thing to be unhappy with something you purchased, but it is another to make derogatory remarks about a company which you didnt buy anything from. You bought a biz op from a marketing company and Bankcard Empire is the processing company. Just like whwn I buy something off the Television when I watch an infomercial. If I had a problem, I owuld most likely talk tot he company of the product I bought, but the problem is..you arent buying anything from BANKCARD EMPIRE. I am sure Bankcard Empire will not allow people to defame them but I do know that they will bend over backwards to help you get customers…why? Because it is a total benefit to them. MAKES COMPLETE SENSE TO ME!

  61. Allison Says:

I am not complaining about Bankcard Empire because it was someone else that was using their name that screwed ME over, and probably most of you too. I had someone call me saying that they were from Bankcard Empire and telling me I could not do the affiliate business without having them do the marketing for me. They told me that I could not even do the marketing on my own (which is a contradiction to Bankcard Empires affiliate policies). I realized AFTER I signed up that it was NOT Bankcard Empire I was dealing with or being charged by it was AIG Promotions. This is who I have a problem with, not Bankcard Empire. I signed up to be an affiliate with Bankcard Empire and was completely ready to do the marketing on my own when someone (who claimed they were from Bankcard Empire but it’s really AIG Promotions) called and told me I could not do the affiliate business at all on my own, that I HAD to use their “call blast” marketing. I did not know what I know now and it is true that people are getting swindled by being told incorrect information. I realized the day I signed up, though, and reported the company as a fraudulent charge and am still going through chargebacks with my credit card.
I am going to file a lawsuit against AIG Promotions (not Bankcard Empire, because they actually were very nice to me whenever I was actually truly speaking with them – not AIG Promotions, who was pretending to be Bankcard Empire). Please contact me if you, too, would like to file a class action suit against AIG Promotions. I am still in the research stages but plan to do this soon because their practices are scandalous, if not completely illegal somehow and they should no longer be allowed to continue to do business.

    Thank you,

  63. autumn Says:

I am a broke college student, and I just signed on with BCE today. I spent an hour on the phone asking all of the “right” questions, and I actually thought it was legit. God, I could kick myself. Where the hell is my common sense? I can’t believe I fell for it. I called the man back who sold me the “merchant banking license” and got a voice mail that wasn’t even his.

I immediately canceled my credit card after this, before the transaction even went through–although, it was pending. Does this mean it still will go through? If it does, I’m out $500, and I don’t think I’ll be seeing my refund anytime soon. We’ll see if the training manual and business cards actually come in the mail.

This is so awful. It’s a sick world when people have to scam college students, who are studying to get real jobs, to make their money.

I definitely learned my lesson. I’m just glad it wasn’t more than $500. Although, that’s still a lot.

  64. delma l castillo Says:

I acutally signed up for this Bank Card Empire business myself and everytime I try to contact the 1 877 227 3597 I get a disconnected signal they told to wait for a so called coach to contact me about a so called back office but I guess it really is very far back because I never got the email giving me the login information. I already cancelled my credit card so that I won’t get charged the 19.95 fee for my so called web site. I guess they charge different according to you income on the start up package, I payed 200.00, but I not going to give them another penny so that they can build their bank card empire with my money. Be aware of this scam.

  65. Ken Says:

Today I determined that my suspicions were correct. Bankcardempire has a number of subcontractors doing the sales, marketing etc. I attempeted to get the young man, who is a coustomer ser rep, to understand that when the principle farms out their work that the principle is still responsible for the subs actions. Therefore bankcard is legally responsible for all of the lies that their salses sub and marketing have committed. I have asked several times to speak to quality control and have never heard from them. A number of us are in the process of organizing in hopes that numbers will bring attention to this matter.

  66. Kayray Says:

Thanks so much for the feedback on BankEmpire. I was so close to falling for it that I searched my question (While on phone listening to audio recording) and found your response. Right then and there I told the caller as soon as they returned NEVER MIND..NOT INTERESTED. You don’t realize how happy I am to have read this as soon as I was prompted to make a decision. You’re a God Send.

  67. Ray Says:

They got me for over $600 in September 2008. Every time I call, it is a different story. One thing I did notice is this:

When they put me through to verify my transaction, I said “this is refunded, correct?” She replied saying after a year if you have not made your money back, we will pay you the difference.

About a week later, the same lady calls me back saying something went wrong on the recording so we had to go through the transaction again. So I did it without stating the refundable statement.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL….now that I think about it, they threw out the recording of me asking about the refundable money and then called me back so they could not get me on tape saying the money was refundable.

Like many people, I have called my credit card company and they put me on the line with a BCE agent. IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!? Should I just keep calling my credit card company?

  68. Wyatt Says:

I signed up with Bankcard empire 6 mos ago. I am happy with the buisness opportunity they have given me. I am a worker and this is not the first home biz I have. One thing people need to understand is that when you own your own biz, companies are going to try and sell you all kinds of things to improve it. However nothing but your own hard work will make you successful. I currently have 8 merchants in my portfolio and made 10,500 in upfront cash and I make between 3500 and 4500 in residuals every month. The checks are good and thats what matters to me. For those of you who were silly enough to buy advertising because you thought you wouldn’t have to do any actual work after that, you will never succeed no matter what the oportunity. For 500 bucks and 20 a month for a website there isn’t a better opportunity out there….as long as your not afraid to work it

  69. lisa Says:

i had this guy on the line from this Empire Bank company and pulled up this feedback from everyone, thank you for saving me $495, the guy insisted on my decision now, wouldnt let me think about it. It sounded too good to be true, and my red flag went up when he wanted an immediate answer.

  74. Allison Says:

Hello, I am sorry I made a previous post and put the wrong email address to contact me. One of the other people I have been in contact with has alerted me to it. Please contact me at the email and phone listed below.

I just also wanted to mention that Bankcard Empire never gave me my login to be able to get into my website either, and charged me for a few months until I cancelled it and closed my credit card account. I kept asking how to get into my website and they gave me the runaround saying that I would be emailed or mailed it. Never did. I also never received a call or communication with a real “coach” as they say, it was only a guy from AIG Promotions telling me I could not do this business without paying them nearly $10,000. They have no evidence of anything that they do and the refuse to provide any evidence. Also, they photocopied my signature onto a document I have never seen before (that I did not sign), wrote with their own handwriting on it and dated it a date AFTER I began to dispute their scandalous company. I know of a few other people that can also prove that they photocopied their signatures as well. This is a VERY serious offense and they will be penalized for it soon enough. This is not a good company, they do fraudulent and belligerent things. No real company behaves the way they do. In addition, no real company would choose to be associated with such a fraudulent company unless they, themselves, were also in on it.

Anyway, I would like to hear from any companies that have actually been approved for their “credit card machine services” or actually anyone who has a story about them – good or bad – and their contact information. We need as much evidence for our case as we can get. Please email or call me, leave a message and I will get back with you as soon as I can. I am very busy but believe this company should no longer do business in this manner so I am working on collecting all the evidence.

    Thank you!

I have gotten to the point where any company from Arizona or Salt Lake City, UT and environs has red flags all over it to me. Had some legit real estate dealings with a “penny stock” guy from Salt Lake who was a convicted felon in FL and NY, BUT the nicest guy you’d want to meet. AZ & UT draw these guys like magnets!

  76. Vince Says:

I have a full-time job a disabled spouse and have no spare-time to build a sales business. That is what appealed to me about the BCE opportunity. I willingly paid $500 for the opportunity and after repeated assurance that their Marketing department would handle advertising and lead generation for a fee of $5000. Which I could follow the programs progress through my BCE website.
That was March of 2009 three months later not a single referral, no report on the call-blast progress (even after I called and was promised one). When I called back I was told the missing report was emailed. After verifying the address and asking for it to be re-sent I was told it would be 5 to 7 business days (Customer Service?) not where I work… I would be chastised!
One thing you can count on is lots of calls from “coaches” trying to sell Search Engine space, Radio and TV ads and a total lack of internal communication among them. Nothing comes as promised until you call repeatedly. It is obvious the various entities are related as all the forms and legalese is identical except for the specifics. You might think you were dealing with the IRS!

I have no desire to be connected in any way with these thieves except to bring them to justice.

  78. Mike in Utah Says:

I’ve got a roommate who did this BCE thing and everything your reading to the negative I am witnessing. I made another posting on another link to this site about BCE and ripped some arrogant twirp that, apparently, is affiliated with them about his thoughts on people who aren’t making money with BCE. You folks should definitely read what he said because this lets you know how these people think. Note that all the positive posts are vague and just say, in effect, that BCE is good. There are no detailed success testimonials or disclosed profit figures, just short paragraphs stating that BCE is legitimate and the people who are complaining are just self-inflicted failures.
BCE insiders are all over the web trying to cover their tracks and they are quite vigilant about it. Ripoffreport.com looks like a bunch of positive spam with the complaints falling through the cracks between all the generic wonderful comments.
All of these positive posts are absolute crap fabricated by BCE insiders and i’ll prove it to you by letting you use your common sense to answer this question:
If you were making money with Bank Card Empire then why would you be posting positive feedback all over the internet knowing that the more people that become affiliates the more competition you will have?

  79. Mike in Utah Says:

OMG!… There is one really long winded positive feedback here, only its not positive. Bob Greer, you are one evil jerk. Yeah really, who twisted the arms of the mentally disabled to give their credit information and five thousand bucks? It wouldn’t have happened if they weren’t so stupid right? So who can blame Bank Card Empire for accepting the money right? Maybe the people at BCE are too stupid to know when they are dealing with someone that is mentally disabled… or they are purposely taking advantage of the situation and hoping nothing will be done about it. I suspect the latter.
I love your one size fits all description of anyone who is complaining about BCE as quote “crying the loudest and doing the least and being the kind of people who make excuses for their failures and continue to do nothing.”
If I was running a business and had customers complaining all over the net and then some punk claiming to represent the company made posts attacking and accusing anyone voicing their concerns, I would fire that punk. It is unprofessional to spew hatred toward paying clients. As a business that, reportedly, profits from the work of their affliliates whom have payed for the opportunity, I find it unconscienable that no one from BCE is denouncing the harsh accusations, heartless statements, and crude language of rude individuals like you Bob.
I suspect that guys like Bob, if that is his real name and not his phone identity, are running BCE and that they really have nothing but contempt for people that are no longer of any use. Once people start asking questions they become a liability instead of a paycheck and punks like Bob here will do anything to discredit them because his cash flow takes a hit when new prospects are forewarned. Let’s face it people, a real business would be polite and courteous in dealing with their clients if there was a long term benefit in it. I’ve read all the smack downs. People who decline to participate get called names, told they will never succeed, or just hung up on.
So far as a quarterly charitable donation goes, yippie for them but I think it’s a front to add a legitimate look to an illegitimate business and win favor in the eyes of the community to prevent scrutiny. Not to mention, their contributions are tax deductable so it would have gone to Uncle Sam if they didn’t send it elsewhere. This company is a fraud and they have no respect or concern for their victims and nothing but cruel rhetoric for people with enough sense to think before they act. There are alot of people complaining about this company and what they say they’ll do and what they actually do, and they all say the same thing. You pay up front, they ask for more money, usually in the thousands for call blasts (whatever the hell those are), even before you’ve had a chance to profit from leads you’ve generated, but your leads will never land you a profit because when they are finally contacted, if they ever are, they always decline. It stands to reason that if affiliates aren’t getting deals closed by BCE sales people, then BCE is making money somehow. I think their profit comes in increments of $135 to $500 with an occasional nice check for a few thousand.

  80. Critch Says:

I got a call the other day from a place called Consumer Advocacy and Retrieval Services. Somehow they had all my info, said they got it when they saw that I had made a complaint against BCE. They want $149 for a DIY kit with letters to the attorney general, BBB, etc. with “the correct verbage” to “get my money back.” I have a sneaking suspicion that they’re affiliated somehow and this is another way to get my money. Anybody have a call from them?

  81. Steve Says:

    Hello Steve

My name is Ray Petty and I am an ecommerce director at Bankcard Empire. LEt me be the FIRST to warn you that this is just one of the companies that calls people to try to “sell” them a package to help them recover investment money. There are other companies that claim up to 40% should any money be recovered. First it is important to understand that BANKCARD EMPIRE is a credit card processing company which allows licensed third party vendors to market our credit card processing as a home based business opportunity. However, many people ELECT to buy additional “marketing tools” to enhance their business goals. Bankcard Empire does not sell marketing tools, again, we are a credit card processing company and becuase of our affiliate program, this allows people get involved through outside vendors, and it creates HUNDREDS of leads for merchant accounts weekly. There are also BOGUS companies who say they are affiliated with us and try to sell you other marketing concepts. In response to your hypothesis, we are NOT calling people with advocate programs. We do MILLIONS of Dollars in credit card processing annually and once a person gets involved with the home business, we step in and provide as many training tools and personal coaching as possible. We have online training modules, a multitiude of spots thru out the web to help folks and even a podcast called the MERCHANTCAST which is right on the home page of the website. There you can hear the company President DAIVD MERSKY speak on issues which are directed at the potential merchants who may sign up thru one of our affiliates who purchased the home based business opportunity. IF you are still not comfortable, feel free to call me at 602-489-7200 ext 232 IF I am not there ALL CALLS ARE RETURNED WITH 24 hours. Thank You

  82. Ernest Says:

Bankcard Empire would not refund my sign-up fees, even though I have explicitly told them I changed my mind about doing business with them. As if that was not enough, they kept charging me a monthly fee after I called and opted out. If that is not a scam, I do not know what is. When they called on the phone to sign me up, they did not mention anything about non-refundable. In my mind, BANKCARD EMPIRE IS A BIG SCAM. If Bankcard Empire does not want a lot of negative publicity, let them refund what they owe to gullible people out there.

  83. Ray P Says:

    Hello Ernest

We don’t think you are gullible but that is a term you used in your comments. Please give me your full info and ID number and I will be happy to pull the Verification Tapes tp see what was specifically said as well as what you agreed to. We use a third party verification system to protect both you as well as the company. If there is ANY misrepresentation of ANY kind that we find…there is no contest. We do not have to run a business based on people saying untruths. The industry speaks for itself. I will await your response so we can get to the bottom of your issue. Email me at bankcardempiremedia@gmail.com or better yet, talk to me here so others can see the steps we take to resolve things. As you can see, sites like this bring negative people who think they have it all figured out when in fact they are not even a client. Take that for what it is worth. Hope to personally talk to you soon.

    Hey,

They got there phone bill paid. I just got through to them. When I told the girl (Joyce) that their phone had been disconnected for non-payment, she said, “Yea, I know–what can I help you with?” When I told her, she transferred me to the litigation/fraud department.

THIS IS A REAL TIME POSTING

I just talked to Chris in the fraud department. He says he has not record of the letter that they sent me, however, my account has been suspended for non-payment. When I asked non-payment of what, he said non-payment of your phone service. I told him that didn’t make any sense. (He’s not my phone company) There was a dead silence for approx. 5 seconds and I asked, “That doesn’t make any sense, would you please explain to me what you’re talking about?” AND…..

    HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS 11:39 EST AND THIS STUFF IS GOING ON REAL TIME…THIS IS NO JOKE AND I’M TRYING TO CALL THEM BACK AND I’LL POST MY RESULTS AS I GET THEM.

I have made NO falsehoods in anything I have posted and am continuing, as I type, to contact Bankcard Empire and resolve this matter.

Calls, comments and e-mails are welcome, especially from representatives of Bankcard Empire as I am having trouble contacting anyone, even though Bankcard Empire sent me a CERTIFIED LETTER and GAVE me the phone number to contact them and I get hung up on.

I have filed a lawsuit against Davidan Corporation d/b/a Bankcard Empire in the Tulsa County District Court under case # CS-2009-6129 to stop their phone calls and illegal bussiness opportunity sales in the state of Oklahoma. What I would tell other people to do is do the same thing that I am doing and not just talking but sueing their azz’s in court to stop the BS calls from them.

  91. Reg Says:

    Darrel,

I know nothing about this company but I think you have the wrong area code. It is a 602 not a 480. I actually just called and the system answered.

  92. Critch Says:

It’s 602 instead of 480. It was a misprint. Give them a break. I called the number and spoke to Robin. He told me that really the only reason they sent those letters was to get people talking to them. He said so far they’ve found out that people have been having horrendous customer service experiences. He said that anyone who wants to can call him back at (602) 489-7200 ext. 217 and he will discuss all this with them.

  93. Ron Says:

I started with Bankcard Empire a few weeks ago, and I am still going thru all the manuals to understand what it is all about. I was very concerned when a friend of mine told me to look at this site and all the complaints listed.

I took the time to call Ray Petty at BCE @ 602-489-7200 and we spoke for almost 1/2 an hour. I was able to tell him of my concerns with the way the program was sold to me, which included alot of lies from the person that represented what I thought was BCE. In fact it was an outside company that earned commissions for getting me to sign up. Ray took the time to explain to me how this works, what is required, and to NOT, I REPEAT NOT, get caught up in the extra advertising. This advertising is offered by a third party, not by BCE. Ray told me of some free ways to advertise and some good information on what type of companys to direct my efforts towards. After our conversation, I feel much better about the chances for success.

I can not, at this time, tell if this is going to be a successful business opportunity or not. I do believe that it will depend on the work I am willing to put into it. For all that think the money is going to roll in by just buying a program and letting it sit on your table, when you find that one, please let us all know!!!

I can say that after speaking with Ray Petty, I feel much better about what I got into. Time will only tell. I do know after years in business for myself that credit card sales are not going away anytime soon, and someone has to process all these sales. If BCE can process these sales, maybe I can make a little on their efforts.

  94. Frank Says:

I am still trying to find any companies that have credit card terminals from Bankcard Empire.

I got sucked into this months ago. A “Marketing Manager” called me on Friday and pitched a $20,000 marketing campaign. Only $10K down. He said if it did not triple my investment in 90 days, I didn’t owe the other half.

When I asked him how they were going to generate these thousands and thousands of hits on my site, he said, “With search engines like Google.” He apparently didn’t know the term, Google AdWords or SEO or anything else. He then told me that Bankcard Empire owned two powerful search engines themselves. He gave me two URL’s – http://www.SearchTheWolf.com and http://www.Iwebcrawl.com – both are nothing but websites with Affiliate Marketing ads on them. They both have a Google Search Widget at the top that clearly says, Powered by Google.

So, if Google doesn’t work… they’re going to use Google…???? Ha, ha, ha.

Go to http://www.Bankcardempire.com and look in the upper left for Merchantcast. Listen to David Mersky, president of Bankcard Empire. He does an interview with Ray Petty. David Mersky stutters and stammers through the staged interview and says nothing. It’s the most meaningless interview I’ve heard – ever.

The DVD Bankcard Empire sends to you to “explain” the business is nothing but a video tour of the office from different angles. That says nothing, too.

I’ve read of people being sold RADIO CAMPAIGNS by Bankcard Empire to promote their sites. This is a complete scam – Rip-off – Robbery!!!!!! You own a REPLICATED SITE… there is no way a radio campaign can communicated a long URL like the replicated site and have it be retained. I know – I owned an ad agency for 6 years.

I’m working to get my credit card company to charge back the fee.

According to Bankcard Empire, they have 86,000 credit card merchants. I’d like to hear from one… and not some boob posting just his name. I’d like to see a Company Name, a REAL address, a phone and a business license. I have no proof that Bankcard Empire has ANY credit card terminal clients.

Think about it. They told me that if I got a lead, the field rep would be there and close the deal within a couple days. Bankcard Empire also told me that they needed me as an affiliate so that they did not have to have an office in my area. But my advertising would be nationwide. So, if I got a lead in Minnesota and a lead in Louisiana and a lead in Oregon, they were going to be flying these reps all over the country to close my deals. Quite frankly, that’s IMPOSSIBLE. It would be COST PROHIBITIVE to do that. And it could not be done in a TIMELY fashion.

If Bankcard Empire was legitimate, they would be sending out newsletters and promoting their successful affiliates. Every other company in the world does that. Top producers get recognized. But Bankcard Empire won’t let you contact a terminal user – for “Privacy Reasons” – they won’t give you the names and produce EVIDENTIAL PROOF of income being earned by ANYONE. Add it all up.

OH… and try this… http://www.HBOMedia.com – plug that into a web browser. That’s the company they say is HOSTING your site. All that comes up is a page of CODE. Google search it. HBO MEDIA (with a space in the middle) is a real company. http://www.HBOMedia.com is owned by Dave Weaver (Verified on WHOIS.net) and Dave Weaver owns Bankcard Empire. http://www.HBOMedia.com is a GoDaddy.com website. The phone numbers are in the Phoenix area.

Nothing adds up with these guys, except victims. I’m letting them hang themselves. The morons they have as “coaches” are just sales reps selling marketing campaigns that they won’t give you details on. I sold advertising over a nine year period. I had to tell my clients all of the details. With Bankcard Empire, you get ZIP, NOTHING, NADA… They should at least try to fax a quote on their marketing to you before trying to fleece you for it.

    Someday, they’ll pay. Big Time.

And Ron… Ray Petty is a voice over announce in Phoenix. He’s done a bunch of sh*tty commercials for Bankcard Empire that are on YouTube. The funny thing is, none of the commercials has over 700 Views. Most have around 200-300 views and some a lot less. If they can’t get over 1,000 views on their own commercials… how are they going to get thousands and thousands of hits on my replicated site?

  95. Ray Petty Says:

    Hello Frank

For clarity, I have done literally HUNDREDS of commercials since 2001 for many companies. However, I am an ecommerce director for Bankcard Empire and also work in the prelitigation department. We placed generic commercials on YOUTUBE etc as a REFERRAL for people who said they wanted to do some additional advertising but didn’t have a lot of money to market so Bankcard Empire supplies them with FREE tools to use in their own marketing campaigns. This is another cost saver if they can’t afford the email and call blasts that are offered to them by other marketing companies. Everything you see and complain about are offered free of charge. Maybe if you tried as hard to work your business as you do trying to DISCREDIT someone, perhaps you wouldn’t be so negative. As far as testimonials “FRANK”…would you base your success or failure on someone else’s efforts? And let’s say you were doing VERY WELL in your area? Should we use your success as an example of why people should sign up in YOUR AREA? IF everyone thought like you, not only would they jump on the opportunity when they were offered it, that would only cut into your own earning potential and limit your market by adding MANY more affiliates. But obviously you failed to think about that. For more clarity “FRANK”, no one flies anywhere to meet anyone. I don’t know where that came from. We have a large agent relations department that does all the comparisons and cost analysis thru the phone and faxing of processing reports etc. Pretty simple stuff. You seem to have looked and listened to many things in our company but we need you to provide your FULL NAME and customer ID number if indeed you are a real person so we can help you with the business. So please stop looking for reasons to fail and step up and get involved. I doubt very seriously if you are a legitimate client. I want to be sure to make it clear that we have attempted to find out who you are and what you have done to date(if anything) We would also request that you give us thorough information as to who told you all these things and what company you bought your marketing tools from. You are very precise with things about videos on youtube or interviews and many people have thanked us for referring them to those sites for FREE TOOLS, but you have failed to give any specific information here as to who you spoke to or who you bought from. Bankcard Empire sells no tools to market your business. Bankcard Empire is the processing company and helps affiliates with the merchants. Please allow the public to see if you are a REAL PERSON with the appropriate response. It is fair to say everyone is entitled to an opinion, but we want to deal with positive people. Try to remember what got you excited in the first place about the business and maybe we can go back to that place and try to help you. You can reach me DIRECTLY at 602-489-7200 Ext 232 That is not a “voiceover announcer” hotline in Phoenix, that is my direct office at the corporate office. Feel free to call at your convenience. I really want to hear what you have to say. Thank You If anyone wants to see the GENERIC SPOTS you can use for free simply go to: http://www.youtube.com/bankcardempire2008 and if you want to listen to any podcasts go to http://www.gcast.com/u/merchantcast. Unfortunately “FRANK” didn’t like them and that’s ok too.

  96. BJ Says:

Before I make a retraction of any statements on this website concerning Bankcard Empire, I request something in writing that states that this company and/or any of it’s third-party contractors, will not approach me again, by any means, especially concerning lawsuits for defamation or damages.

  97. Don P Says:

This advertising is offered by a third party, not by BCE.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

How do you guys think they get your information if it’s ‘not offered’ by BCE? Very Interesting…..

  99. Sherry Says:

I do not have a website. My mother does not have a website. She does not have a cd player or dvd player doesn’t own a computer. Only leaves the house to go to the grocery. What HUMAN BEING (and I use the term loosely) sold her $6,000 worth of something she cannot use. Oh yea it was John Anthony, Bankcard Empire. She tried to get her money back two days afterward because she just can’t afford it. This is impossible for her. Something has to be done. She is under pyschiatric care. She is very trusting. I went to see all the material she got for the $6,000 and was amazed to see about 50 postcards with no explanation. How do you folks sleep at night. We can’t.

  100. Robin Says:

Therefore, we monitor comments and complaints posted on various forums on the Internet to ensure that we quickly address and resolve all misunderstandings.

  101. BJ Says:

The following subjective statements of opinion, based on postings by BJ – Neligh NE, are retracted from this website under threat of possible litigation for defamation per a letter received from Bankcard Empire:

    1. “Bankcard Empire Buyer beware Phoenix, Arizona.”
    2. “These people have taken my brother…..”
    3. “..this company doesn’t care once they get their money..”
    4. “..this company is bad news.”
    5. “..practicing fraudulent business.”
    6. “These people have quite a racket…”
    7. “..as if they were legitimate.”

  102. raymond petty Says:

ALL these people on this page that are singing the praises of bankcard empire are nothing more than mother fuc*ing bas*ard company shills.
They are trying to scare and intimidate people from posting their negative experiences with this sorry ass, scam company.
One of these days, someone just might “get even” with them by introducing them to a world of HURT and RP DON’T mean litigation!
If you have negative comments, they belittle you and tell you that you don’t have the BRAINS to do this work and that you are basically stupid for doubting their honesty and threaten you with litigation.

  103. Ray Petty Says:

Did someone actually make a profile and use my name? The internet is full of losers…pathetic. Introduce to a “world of hurt”? Get even? Sounds like a threat and therefore your IP WILL be tracked legally…oops.

  104. T. Moses Says:

Update on Bankcare Empire lawsuit in Oklahoma, as expected thay have filed a “Motion to Dismiss” claiming “lack of jurisdiction” ha ha ha this attorney seems to be pulling everything from the “kitchen sink” so that I can’t have my day in court, well to little to late as for everybody else that has delt with Bankcard Empire, I suggest that you take the steps to file a lawsuit in court to get whatever money that you think is owed to you instead of just blogging about it to everybody else.

Have you set account alerts on all you credit card accounts that will alert you to any charges over a certain amount of money, or if a credit charge charge has been made online, by phone, or mail. Have you called your credit card company to lower your credit limit to as low as possible? Lowering your credit limit will effect your credit rating, but not like the inability to pay your bill after being charged a large sum by a company for nothing in return.

I never rush into anything…I told Mike Calhoun yesterday that I wanted to talk to my wife before I invested my $150 (offer good that day only) in the credit card affiliate opportunities he described. He said I would get a $500 cash bonus for every terminal businesses leased plus the monthly residual. I decided to go through with it, against my usual judgment, and I paid the $150 for the starter kit and the $19.95 hosting fee for my website. At 1:00 p.m. I received a call from Brian Soper saying that he was my “coach.” He said he would email me the W9, invoice, and affiliate marketing partner aggreement. He called me back an hour later and walked me through them and told me to fax them to him- he said he would review them and call me back in an hour with my login id. It is now 5:30 est and I am still waiting for Brian’s call. I called the number he called me from and Brian is “on the phone.” Does this sound familiar…

Most states, including Arizona, have a one-year statute of limitations on filing defamation lawsuits, based on the date of the first posted statement on the internet, or a verbal statement. Anything posted before August 20, 2008 is no longer subject to a defamation lawsuit in Arizona. Check the statute of limitations in your state.

  112. Alan Says:

I spent just under $15,000 with Ultimate Business Solutions about a year ago and was guaranteed in writing by Mike Green of BankCard Empire that they would keep running callblast campaigns until I made my investment back. After running aprox. 21,000 callblasts, I still have yet to make a dime. My salesman told me that their callblasts had a 1-3% response rate and they closed an average of 30% of the people who called back. Out of over 21,000 callblasts, I have had only 6 companies signed up, 5 were rejected and 1 is pending. I was lucky to get this in writing, because their original agreement said that they would rerun the callblast one additional time in the event that I didn’t make my investment back. But they claimed that they have never yet had a callblast campaign not yield the initial investment. I’m on my third campaign and nothing. One worthless campaign after another. No wonder they promise that they will rerun the campaign if the first fails, their leads have proven worthless. I’ve tried asking for my money back, but they have refused. The way I see it, they promised me I’d make my money back, so they should just buy me out since their advertising campaign is not working as promised. So if anyone in BankCard Empire would like to contact me to make things right, my email is fentem7@gmail.com,

Oh almost forgot yup you guessed it, listed by Az corporation commission Davidan Corporation has a Michael Malkin listed as a principal shareholder and is also reported as the sec/treas by the Phoenix, Az. FTCs New Rule On Robocalls In Effect Today September 1, 2009:

Starting today, telemarketers have to get written permission from consumers before they can contact them with prerecorded messages, according to the Federal Trade Commission.

The new rule, preventing robocalls, goes into effect today as an amendment to the FTCs Telemarketing Sales Rule, according to the agency’s Web site.

Telemarketers who violate the new guideline could face a penalty of $16,000 per call, the site says.

Calls that deliver information, including flight cancellations, delivery notifications, messages from schools and others that don’t try to convince the recipients to buy something are permitted, the site says.

The rule also does not apply to politicians, banks, telephone carriers and most charities. Some healthcare messages also are allowed, the site says.

The new rules prohibit robocalls to consumers even if they have previously done business with a company.

Telemarketers who continue to call to make a sale without written permission from consumers can be reported to federal officials at http://www.donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222.

    For more information, visit http://www.ftc.gov.

  119. Jonathan Says:

Ok, so I’ve been out of work for three months, can’t get unemployment because I worked for a non-profit company. Like so many other people, I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding a job. Without checking them out first, I answered an internet ad for Bank Card Empire and then quickly received a call from a pleasant guy named Adam. He talked very fast about an unbelievable opportunity to make money giving local merchant referrals for credit card processing machines to Bank Card Empire and be paid $500 for each machine placed. I could get the “Platinum” membership, usually priced at $399, for only $199….and the website, etc…..yada, yada, yada. Usually, I’ve been quick on my feet, mentally. But I was really depressed about the lack of jobs for a late 50’s male and feelings of desperation eventually weakened me to say yes. The next day I came to my senses and said to myself, “You idiot!” I called to ask for a refund and after 30 minutes of haggling, they still refused. I told them any legitimate business would offer a full refund to a customer who either was dissatisfied or had changed their mind. I also told the woman that they were starting to sound like a scam to me. They still refused. Then the next day, I received another call from another person from BCE “offering” a limited time offer of company based advertisment and call center blasts. He said the more I “invested” the more money I’d make. He had the audacity to ask me how much unused balance I had on my credit cards to use for this purpose. I told him it was none of his business. He kept pushing but I kept pushing back and finally said goodbye and hung up. Don’t be a sucker for the $295 like I was. I consider it very expensive lesson for $295. These leaches are everywhere preying on those of us who are down and out. BEWARE of BANK CARD EMPIRE and others like them. I should have rememberd, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”

399….get a deal for 199…then you say you paid 295. Do you have any idea what you did…Im confused just reading your attempt at saying you are a sucker

  122. Gary S. upstate NY Says:

Wow, now I am more confused then ever.
I waded through all of the post’s hoping to get something conclusive one way or another.
I have been offered the initial opportunity for the $495.00 fee and will be negotiating my options soon.
I have not been pressured once in my 2 calls with their closer Mike A. and have been assured that if ya work it you can make decent money.
I have extensive advertising and marketing background so I can handle that on my own.
I will work the business properly by contacting the local county buildings looking for new business listings and focus my efforts on a targeted audience.
I will not do call blasts etc.
I wish to be in control of my expenditures and be able to monitor my ROI regularly.
I will try and report back about my experience with actual concrete #’s not the usual whining etc.
If they are legit I will earn and recommend them, if not, I will blast them!!
    Wish me luck!

  123. Nicole Says:

    HELLO,
Like most of you I to was hit by bankcard empire. The sad thing I spoke with a Jim V that someone else posted on here. They told me $500 and I said I was not paying that and he said $350 which I did pay plus the $19.95 shipping charge. After joining I still didn’t think anything of it until I finally spoke to my marketing rep and he was basically trying to get me to invest more money to market the business. Like someone stated up here he also asked me how much I had available on my credit card, but I told him I would prefer to get paid first and just reinvest and he got an attitude and told me good luck trying to make money on your own with out marketing. Not to mention him saying this made him rich when he invested $15,000 (like ok if your rich why are you talking to me on someone job?So that when I did a search and found sites like this and ripoffreport.com. So I called today to cancel and they told me they have no refund policy and I was told of this during authorization. I said I would have never signed on with a no refund policy. But they e-mailed me a form I had to fax in to stop the $19.95 processing fee for the website so we’ll see how that goes. Lastly I filed a complaint w/ the attorney general of Arizona, I called my credit card company and disputed the charge with them and I’m going to go to the BBB and file a complaint. The crazy thing is I actually went to their website while I was talking to them and tried to pull it up on BBB, I wish I would have waited to see what their rating was. But they are very patient with you when it comes to getting your money, trying to address all your concerns. I must say it amazes me how far these complaints date back and how recent others are which only means they are still ripping people off, they must be stopped in some shape or form.

  124. Frank Smith Says:

Even though i read all of the posts about this company, and thought i was too smart to get conned, they almost got me. The 1st 3 calls were soft sells and the promises of making $4,000 to $6,000 a month workign 1-5 hours sounded too good to be true. I even went so far as to make notes, read back my notes to caller, and they agreed with every thing i had written. Then I paid my $150 fee for “licensing” *by the way, when I got the invoive the $150 was for training materials). Today I recieved a call from the “coach” and she started asking me questions about my debt, the nuber of credit cards i have and their balances. I started getting a funny feeling and basically what she told me is that I need cash or credit for marketing. I pull the chain, got others involved and they said that the closer had lied and would likely get fired (she will just work under a different name).
I am not sure why but I went ahead and agreed to listen to the rest of the deal and the gist of it is, you invest a minimum of $10,000 up to $30,000 for “data” and thne whenerve one of those “data” elements generates money, you get paid. You do nothing, but count your cash if you believe them. Again anything that sounds too good to be true probably is. If i did not want to buy leads, i could buy coaching at $1,000 per week for up to 4 weeks. When I told them I wanted a few days to mull it over since this was a completely different deal than I had been discussing, she told me it is now or the price goes up. That is when I hung up, called my credit card company to dispute the charge and sent them an e-mail telling them what I thought.

If these guys call you or e-mail you, run and dont look back. This is either a huge scam or these guys are smarter then all of us. You decide.

I can call you a thief and not worry about any defamation because it is true.
