In April I spoke for and put deposits on 4 Sphynx kittens from Cassie Hedderich of Divine Sphynx, sent full payment and signed contract to Cassie on May 14/08, got pics of my kittens growing up right until just before they were suppose to be flown to me, ( I am in Canada, she is in Missouri USA) the day of shipping (after they were to be shipped). I finally got a call saying she could not send them because of the USDA vet, I told her no not to ship to Canada, so she said she decided she would not send the kittens, and she would refund all my money. I did get 2000.00 USD back after some time, and she still owes me our agreed on amount of 1860.00, is actually more then that, but we agreed on this amount. Then I agreed to take one kitten and she pay me the shipping, then she called and said she is not breeding any longer and will I take a kitten she has coming back to her from another breeder, I said yes as long as she pays me the 400.00 USD for shipping as I already paid the shipping. This had not happened yet nor has she signed a contract with the other breeder to make it legal as noone now wants to deal with her and her lies. She has aleast three websites up and going, all uses different names, one is her boyfriend and when you call she talks to you as Kelly, only in fact Kelly is a man, but she can do this as who would know that. The last website claims to be a buy out of ITZBARE, but still uses one of many emails Cassie uses and her phone number. Cassie also took my money and cheated me. I sent her a cashier’s check for $1500 in December 2007 for a cat. She was supposed to ship her by Delta and then she called me the night before and said her fiance had accidentally sold the cat to some woman who showed up at their house. This cat was to be a present for my daughter. I tried calling her for months. She would hang up (when she answered the phone), and ignored all my emails. The real insult was when I went to buy another cat from a different breeder who knew Cassie, and Cassie told her that the cashier’s check I sent her was a FAKE. Cassie sent me threatening email and when I contacted a breeder in North Carolina who was Cassie’s friend that woman started sending me nasty emails as well. DO NOT SEND THIS WOMAN YOUR MONEY. You might as well burn it, because she will rip you off.

She no longer advertises on Hobbly under her own name but gets another cattery http://www.arwensfriends.com to post the classifieds for her.
Avoid at all costs, if your looking to buy a Sphynx avoid any from Sedalia, Missouri as it is her.
