I was approached by a neighbor that he is selling a computer. i did not know that the computer is not working. before giving me the computer, he keeps giving me different versions of stories that the computer is with his partner or he has to buy some parts. i suspicion grew when time passes. a month later, he gave me my computer then few days later, he took it back claiming that it is not working and he has to install something. i told him that if that is the case, he can just give me back my money. of course, he gave me a run around of my money. my boyfriend has to talk to him then he told me that he has the money. when i met with him of course another story, the check did not clear, he does not have the money. he gave me a check and told me to take it to the bank and cash it. then i realized that the check is post dated and when i called the bank said that there is no fund available.

i called commission on fair trade to report him. his name and his wife’s info is in their database.

it is so frustrating dealing with this situation. on top of that, he is a neighbor and a country man.

my aunt always say that think of it as a donation.
