I recently purchased a keylogger program for my computer from computerspy.com. I signed up for a three day trial of the keylogger for $9.95. If I did not cancel within 3 days, I would be charged $34.95. I purchased the program on a Friday and canceled on Sunday. I clicked a link through computerspy.com that said cancel my account. It said my account was canceled and I would not be billed the $34.95. A few days later, I went to pay my rent and noticed that $224.92 was missing from my checking account. Someone had stolen my debit card number from computerspy.com. They made purchases from two different places, but I was also charged that $34.95 that I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. I went to my bank and canceled my debit card. We called the two places where the purchases were made and they said my money would be refunded. CCbill.com is who computerspy does their billing through. I called them and was told that I needed to contact computerspy and have them email me a confirmation number and then I had to email it to ccbill.com. I asked them for the number to computerspy, but they told me they didn’t have any way to contact them. How can you do billing for a company, but not have any way to reach them? I looked on the computerspy website for the number. I remembered seeing a number when I first purchased the program, but I found out it was the number to ccbill.com. I called them back and told them I could not find a number to computeryspy. They eventually said they would refund my money and they did a few days later. I looked up reviews for computerspy.com and learned that this happened to several other people. I know I should have been more careful and read reviews before I purchased, but this is something I thought wouldn’t happen to me. I have been more careful now. I only buy from trusted sites and do research first. I can’t believe there are so many people out there waiting to get ahold of someone’s card number and spend all their money. Luckily, my landlord is understanding and we paid the rent a few days late. I wish sites like computerspy.com and ccbill.com would get shut down. They have scammed so many people and it’s not right for them to be able to keep doing it.

I’ve used CCBill.com many times. I have never had any issues with them. Sorry you went through what you did but you also have to remember what you agreed to. I had something similar happen to me once but I didn’t cancel like the terms I agreed to stated. The Customer service rep was pleasant and explained to me and showed me what I agreed to. All I can say to anyone is READ WHAT YOU AGREE TO. Good thing about this company is they are open 24/7 so you can always get a hold of someone there.
I have used them for years and I have never had any issue with my account info.
