Recently my company, Saeculii YK (www.saeculii.com), identified a company based in China attempting to defraud consumers by claiming to be representing Saeculii YK employing Saeculii YK copyrighted material (Saeculii YK has a copyright registration pending with the United States Copyright Office).
The company operates under the names:
- Beijing Oriental Diligence Translation Service Co., Ltd
- Oriental Diligence Translation Service Co., Ltd
The copyright material in question is hosted on the following web sites:
- http://www.bodt.com.cn/index_en.htm (2009-03-01)
- http://www.deqinfy.com/index_en.htm (2009-08-27)
- http://www.deqinfy.net/index_en.htm (2009-09-04)
This copyright material was lifted from the www.saeculii.com web site using the off-line browser software called Teleport Pro.
Numerous content throughout the sites listed above have been lifted without authorization from Saeculii. Please view the file source for the URLs above (by Right Click->View Source). Alternatively, the Saeculii online documentation of this incident can be viewed at the following URL:

The strategy of this firm is to dupe consumers into believing that they are providing a service that is sanctioned by, or affiliated with, Saeculii YK (www.saeculii.com). Please view the following search on Google, where the company advertises itself as being associated with Saeculii:

This company is in no way, shape, or form associated with Saeculii YK (www.saeculii.com). Consumers need to be alerted to this fraudulent and criminal behavior.
