On 7/11/09 I received a phone call from 646-383-1472. The person on the other end of the line claimed to be calling from Full Circle Financial and to have a debt of mine in collections. He continued to provide all of my information correctly and tried to bully me into setting up a payoff plan.
I firmly told them there was no way that I would give them any bank information over the phone, and they needed to provide something in writing that this was even indeed my debt. They claimed to have already sent me something in writing, and listed off my current address. They then asked if I was interested in ‘payoff’ amounts.
I was transferred to another guy who then tried to sweet talk me into a great deal on this debt that they had never proven was mine. When his first deal didn’t work, he tried cutting me an even better deal.
I continued to refuse to give them any sort of bank information, requested everything in writing, and he eventually got mean and told me that I’d be responsible for the entire debt and hung up on me.
On 7/13/09 I received a phone call from 516-765-2337 also claiming to be Full Circle Financial. I told them I would not speak to anyone without something in writing and hung up.
On 7/14/09 they have tried calling from the first number again. I now have this set to ‘do not answer’ on my phone.
This is a full-blown scam. There are many complaints that these people are calling and harassing people just like me. The callers were not native English speakers.

As a note, I do not have any bad debts on my credit history, I even pulled it as soon as I got off the phone with these scam artists. I have now put a freeze on my credit, it is scary when someone calls and has ALL of your information.

I too have been contacted by “Full Circle Financial” and provided my own private identification information only to be pestered to pay off a debt. I promptly informed the representative, whom was not an English speaking person, to provide this so called debt in writing to my residence. I have gotten several calls from this ‘company’ and despite my protests and requests to stop calling, they continue. After a heated conversation, I decided I would arm myself with some information regarding this company by google and I was blown away to read your entry. I felt compelled to respond so that others would know about this so called company and their efforts to defraud others.

I got the same call today from the same exact number. I could barely understand any of them as they all had very strong foreign accents. They had some legit info on a prior address from 15 years ago but I never had what they were collecting for. I asked for proof in writing and they just kept pushing to settle. I told them it could be fraud and again they just wanted to settle the matter today.

Again, they keep calling my home number and asking for Donna Washington even though in the past I have requested them to stop calling my home number, “We do not know who is Donna Washington and Donna Washington has never lived here with us”. Their behavior is not American at all. They just want to terrorize American communities while they try to recruit someone to against America at large. This is scary. Where is the law? Where is the Government for American people? Where is American Homeland Security? Please help us!
