I received a letter in the mail,saying We are a secret customer employment firm that assists corporations on how to improve services. It said that they selected me to participate in a paid consumer research program,as a mystery shopper. In the letter they sent a check,they wanted me to deposit the check in my account,then to go shopping,at Wal-mart or Sears. Next go to Western Union Transfer 2900.00 to a person on the letter. After you then call them back to say this was done. well i dont have a bank account,so i went to the bank on the check to cash it. The bank told me that the where having problems with the check,and to call the people back to send me a new check or see what the prblem was.
So i called them back, the man on the phone said that he would have the accounting dept. investigate. then they would call me back. So i said well can i talk to them now, the man then said no,he can’t transfer the call. So i hung up. I called again to see if i could talk to someone else. Nope,i got the same man. And all he kept saying is the acconting dept. will investigate and call You back. Thats it. I mean its a good thing i didn’t have a bank account. I mean this looks like a real check. I bet the bank teller thought it was too. Also on the letter are phone numbers,business headings,email address,nothing to make it look like it was’nt real. right. So basically it’s a dummy company.
