Dear readers ‘
i would like to inform you and make you aware about the scams and frauds run by companies like new image london photo studio. at regent park london (www.newimagelondon.com ) phone no: 020 7580 3527
i got a call from their office that i have one a vip photo shoot and for a refundable fees of 35 pounds per person i can get a professional photo shoot done. i booked it along with one of my friends . They told there was no obligation to buy any photo.
i did the photo shoot and when i was buying the prints they offered to givbe me my prints for 250 pounds . later on when i asked about the refund of the deposit they said i had to call account team next day for the same.
i have called them a no of times but they are not willing to refund it back .
They have also not sent me the copies of the photos which we had orederd through mail .
I fell everyone should know that this company is very much running on the frauds and if you dont want to be trapped under these scams then please do avoid them …..
i lost a lot of money (250 + 70 )pounds and felt cheated by the company …
Thanks for reading this and hopefully somehow the company comes to know about this and stops doing these sort of things .

Hi there,
We also won a package. Computers were down when we arrived so could not view our photos. Promised they would be sent to us within the week. Still waiting for them. Still not got any deposit back.
Spoke to several other people who have used them and all have had issues and are waiting for money and/or photos.

hi,
i am also waiting for my photos. i have paid £250 & i owe £250 (they phoned & asked for it but i was not in) but i cannot get in touch with anybody by phone or e-mail.
they do however come up on my bank statement as ‘new image london’ & i have checked their VAT number to make sure it was valid…
do you think they’ve gone bust?
i am very annoyed at their lack of contact & also, it was not a FIVE STAR studio as promised by their website.
i was suspicious on the day & i should’ve stood by that & not agreed to any payments.
does anybody know anyone who HAS recieved their photos??

Yesterday I was contacted by Studio London – they say I’ve won a free photography session (worth £150). They put pressure on me to book on the spot and put down a deposit. I insisted I needed to think about it, they’re going to call back today. I’m so glad I resisted and found this… Sorry to hear you guys got caught in their web

I too was contacted by New Image London, they pressured me into paying a deposit, a man called Cameron dealt with me. When arriving at New Image we were very disapointed to find it was shabby and not very proffesional. We should have guessed there and then, Thankfully we did not order any picture and only lost £70.00 deposit (not that I can afford to lose that) Has anyone heard from them??? When you call the mail box says its full.

My daughter and i have had the same experience. We went up to London in May after paying a deposit of 60. I cant remember exactly how much i spent on the day i think it was about 80 and then they took money out 100 of my account monthly. I wondered why i hadnt heard anything and had not recieved the photos. I have tried to ring them and sent emails. When we went they did tell us they were moving. They said it was to better studios. It would appear that they have a Facebook site and i have added them today. It will be interesting to see if they accept me. If there is enough of us on here surely Watchdog or someone would be interested?

i went there with my girlfriend and we spent a hell of a lot of money i went back 2 weeks after they said they were moving place, and they had packed up shop everything within the facility was gone. i went downstairs into the studio to search about and phones were unpluged, tv gone, mirrors gone and computers gone everything was gone. they are very smart for pulling one over, but they are not smart on who the pulled the scam on. i would hope wotchdog got involved and helped us resolve this situation but if not i will do my own investigation. All i can say is they got theirs and im going to get mine. Good luck to them, there going to need it.

Has anyone managed to do anything about it yet? Maybe we should all somehow sort some way out of reporting it together? I have a facebook friend who is on their friends list. I’m going to see if she can find out where they are now

i had a ohone call off them saying i had won a vip photography session.
So paid £70 deposit for me and my mum, a guy called Cameron dealt with it.
So we paid for the train expecting to have a nice day out, but New image London rang to say there computers where down and wouldnt be able to do the shoot after all, we were dissapointed but thought that we were either able to book again or get our deposit back, like the above posts, we could not contact them at all, we emailed and phoned every number on their website but nothing.
We didnt lose as much as other people,, but its still not on.
This company needs to be sorted with.
Just makes me angry!

For attention of all the persons posting here.
I hope this little bit of information is of use to you. I am a photographer with my own studio based in Covent Garden. Whilst always keeping an eye open for any new local Photographic Studio’s in my area, I can across a small Ad in the Monthly Covent Garden Magazine for The New Image Photographic Studio. The address listed is as follows: 17-19 Bedford St. Tel: 020 7868 5534 (which is not a Covent garden telephone number). Their website shows the address as in Regents Park. I would suggest to you that these people are con-men. Sadly these type of so called Photographers are reflecting badly on us photographers who are genuinely trying to run a decent, honest photography business. I hope you all report them to the Police. Tomorrow (Thursday I will go to the Bedford St address and see if I can see what is going on (its just round the corner from my studio) I hope to write a follow up post and let you all know what I have found. I am very pleased to have come across this website. Regards.

My daughter and her friend fell for this disgusting company. Amy aparently won her photo shoot, and took zan with her, they were both young mothers, and barely able to pay for the photos. They have both lost a lot of money and me also as i went with them, the cost to london & back and the added loss of the photo monies. We are going to go to the magazine who advertised this company, and see what recourse we have. Disgruntled at these disgusting people, they knew the girls were struggling to pay. They sicken me. Hi, as a follow up from my previous post.
Of course as expected they are not at the Bedford st address in Covent garden.
I think you should all report them to the police.
Best of luck to you all
