Sat And Act Materials Are A Rip Off

Check out the Dallas area Better Business Bureau report at the listed url for The SAT and ACT Prep Center in Coppell TX. The management keeps spewing their replies on various web sites (go ahead and Google them up), but I have to wonder why they do not reply to the Dallas Better Business Bureau? I also wonder where they get the phone numbers and information on the students taking the test. I checked with our child’s counselor at the high school and at no time have they released this information. I am also wondering if the SAT and/or ACT is selling this info to these people? We have a registered do-not-call phone number…so where did this company get our child’s information? This whole situation is not satisfactory and I would like some kind of reply from these people as to where they got our child’s information. They cut my phone call off today when I told them I was going to pursue the matter with my credit card company before I could ask them to inform me as to where they got this information. I wonder what they will do when I contact the Attorney General of Ohio? I wonder if there may be some Federal issue with them using the phone for this scam? $119.99 for a 10 buck product with no chance to return if opened? What a bunch of hooey! When I contacted the attorney’s office, I was informed that this company somehow purchases STUDENTS INFORMATION, sells parents the overpriced/outdated material, then packs up and moves to another city and state under a different name. These animals need to be stopped. I am glad that this site helps to expose businesses that exploit the consumer for their own profit and gain. How dare these CROOKS use a child’s education to get over on us hardworking parents.
