I was given a moving quote by this company,BESTMOVE INC for moving items from Dowagiac, Michigan to Round Rock, TX. Reference No:XXXXXXXX for the amount of $1095.00
After the agreement I paid 10% of $1095 then an additional $600 in cash was paid to the driver during pick up. Which left a balance of $386.00 to be paid upon delivery of the items in Round Rock, TX.
To my amazement I received a call from the driver/dispatcher advising me of approx. time of arrival(three days from 9/3/09) and that my balance to be paid in cash is 1382! Obviously we have a huge discrepancy here. I have made several attempts to speak to supervisor, manager or owner but drew a blank! I have file a complaint to the authorities hoping someone will help. My items and are being held hostage until I guarantee to the driver that I will pay.
