I hired Eric Hartline to do some work to a home I own at 113 N. 8th St. in Martins Ferry, Ohio.. as he and I agreed I purchased the materials he needed to do the repairs from 84 lumber in Empire, Ohio…he picked up the materials and started on the work. He however did not do the work I asked him to do which was patch the roof before doing any other work.He then repeatedly called myself and my husband leaving volgar messages when we told him we wanted the roof done first and proceeded to get angry when I would not front him 100.00 he said he needed for delivery charges in which he did not provide me a receipt for the delivery of materials so therefor I did not give him the money until I got a receipt. He then got angry went to the property and took all the materials that I had paid for from 84 lumber which came to a total of 197.23 and said he returned them andtook all the money from my materials.I feel I have been scammed by this contractor and I am out of the materials needed for the job.
