Scammed by www.mylpcard.com

NOTE: Please look below this report for comments by the company, individuals, employees, ex-employees and victims, if there are any. They may contain invaluable and important updates about this case.

I received a “mylp” credit card(my low pay) through the mail and went to call activate it. The company said all the needed was confirmation through a number on the letter and my bank number to confirm i had a checking account.they did not say any thing about a deposit fee or cost of anything.I check my bank and I see that there is a $25.00 fee deducted from my account from a check return.I know that I didn’t write a check because I’m 22 going on 23 and barely know how to write a check and at that don’t even have a check book.I called my bank and they said it came from a check that was sent to my bank by the company in a 90 something (I can’t remember the exact amount) fee to activate my card. I couldn’t remember at the time who the company was because it was at least one or two weeks ago and then it all came back to me.So I google it so I can get the site and the first thing that pops up about it is FRAUD stories.I don’t even bother to call the company after things I read when people call in to complain to them.

  9. Terri Says:

This is a scam, there is no company that will just give a $7500 credit limit without a credit check…”Think” about it. If anyone calls and ask for your bank information do not give it to them its a bogus scam!

  10. Laughing Says:

You’re 23 and you don’t know how to write a check? Yet, you give out your checking account information to a stranger. Post a link showing the money being deducted, and whatever other documentation you have to support your story. Without that, your story is very weak and hard to believe. If your story is in fact true (which I highly doubt), it sounds like you need a babysitter for your commercial transactions.

  16. Jenny Says:

I got a lpc card in the mail and i was like umm i didnt even sign up for this. so i got online to check it out and they wanted my checking info and im like ummmm if you were a real company handing out cards like this you would of asked for my bank info in the first place before you even sent me the damn card… so WARNING TO THOSE WHO HAVE THE CARD DO NOT ACTIVATE IT… ITS A RIP OFF, IF YOU ADD UP ALL THE FEES YOU WILL BE PAYING ALMOST 400-500 BUCKS THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET BACK……………
