Work @ Home Scam from Craigslist

NOTE: Please look below this report for comments by the company, individuals, employees, ex-employees and victims, if there are any. They may contain invaluable and important updates about this case.

I am writing this just to let others know before a similar situation happens to them. I had been a victim of fraud. I had recently applied for an internet posting for a work at home position. For what ever reason after the ‘online interview’ I had given out my bank account number. In turn there was nearly $1000 put into my allready overdrawn account (reason I thought I had nothing to loose) as soon as there was a transfer via online, this person claiming to be a representative from a datatechcomputers.com would not leave me alone. It was as if a switch had been flipped and this person on the other end would not leave me alone, it was “go to the bank right now”, you must do this “right now”.

Any questions I had would go unanswered, this was ongoing for a few hours. Until I filed a police report with the local PD. I guess what I am trying to retierate is not to fall victim to this overly common scam. As you would imagine I could have done without this headache.

Well that info is as good as useless – at least give us a clue who you were dealing with!
