First of all this company had mailed me that My Professional experience in Software Testing is matching with their requirement and they told me to appear online for interview. The email id that i had added was “cygnusinter@yahoo.com”. The Person who recognize him self by Mr.John, HR of Cygnuscorp had taken my online interview and told me to wait for his call or mail for confirmation. He had asked me hardly 7 to 8 question in online interview. And on the second day I got his mail that I have been apointed as Software Test Engineer in their company and he told me to remain present their with in a week other wise they recruit another person. As i am an indian i have to prepare a lot for to meet that deadline., the company also told me that You have to present there by your own expense and company will provide you the air-fare after signing the original job-offer letter at the office., They call me to come there On-Arrival visa. So I followed there instruction and reach there before one day of joining.
In Job offer letter He told me to come with an amount of $2500 as to make a guarantee bond against the accommodation and laptop that is provided by them and they will return it back to me after 3 months.
As I reached to the bangkok he had send a lady named “lack” to pick up me from air-port and I went with her to hotel where i meet MR. John, HR of Cygnuscorp, He told me to pay the hotel bill, I pay that bill and he also told me that he will return all amount from his director. Then I and Mr.John went to my hotel room; and there he demands that $2500 that i have to give him against gaurantee of acomodation and laptop, I gave him half of the amount and told him to pay remaining half after arranging it in two days. Then we go to Thai learning classes where he told me to attend the demo lecture, and so I have attended that demo lecture and he told me that he is waiting out-side.
When i finished my demo lecture and came out of the class room i find that Mr.John has left me there in Thai Language Class.
By then I go to the hotel by hiring a texi then I came back from there to india without doing any inquire to save my life.

Software Test Engineer Employment Offer: -
Contractual period of Twelve (12) Months.
Date of Reporting in Bangkok: On or before 06th May,2009.
Cygnus Group Limited as Software Test Engineer hires you for the following period
from the date of 06th May,2009.
- You will carry out the terms of Employment as set forth herein.
- You are expected to comply with the following conditions as per contract clauses.
CONTRACT CLAUSES 1 – 12:-
1.SCHEDULE:
The number of working hours will be 45 hours per week. Monday through Friday. And the
probationary period will be 3 months.
2.PAY:
Company agrees to pay you a monthly salary of US$2500 (Two Thousand Five hundred
DOLLARS UNITED STATES) per month for a period of 12 months and including bonus
payment of one month’s salary upon completion of said contract.
3.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all aspects of product testing including functional, regression,
performance, usability, and acceptance testing .
• Contribute to the tracking and resolution of bugs .
• Work closely with development and support teams to ensure total product quality
• Help us to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Work with applicable parties to understand the deployment and configuration
needs.
• Will work closely with the development team to execute test cases for individual
software components and for the system as a whole.
• Provide software test automation and error injection.
• Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner
with all levels of staff and customers.

Company does not provide you Flight ticket to Thailand. Airfare will be refunded within a
week of joining.
5.MEDICAL INSURANCE:
Company agrees to provide basic medical insurance for you. Insurance pays hundred
(100%) percent of any treatment charges.You may extend to total insurance coverage
with extra contribution to the insurance agreement.
6.GUARANTEE AGAINST ACCOMMODATION:
As a precautionary measure to ensure the initiation of the terms of employment, you
need to make mandatory security gurantee of US$2500 (Two Thousand Five hundred
DOLLARS UNITED STATES) in cash / Travellers Cheque after signing the contract at our
Bangkok office. US$2500 (Two Thousand Five hundred DOLLARS UNITED STATES)will be
refunded upon completion of 3 months term of contract.The cash security guarantee
covers for the Accommodation and also for the Laptop . The Accommodation and Laptop
guarantee is charged due to earlier misconduct of overseas employees,which caused
huge damages to the company and also for the reason that Company has other
expenditure from the day overseas employee joins us and also the reason that the
company should show deposit for our employee workpermit processing.The security
guarantee cannot be deducted from salary and is Mandatory.You will also be provided
with fully furnished accommodation and also transportation from accommodation-officeaccommodation.
7.TRAINING:
Training will be given for the period of 15 days for Thai Language and to get familiar with
Thai customs and duty draw back requirements and technical training required for the
projects as and when required.And company doesn’t charge any fees for training.
8.ACCOMMODATION:
Company provides you the accommodation from the date of your joining the company.
9.OVERSEAS TRAVEL:
You will be asked to relocate to any of our branch located out of Thailand. And salary will
be paid according to respective countries pay norms.In such case company bares all
transportation charges.
10.VISA :
You need to obtain visa on arrival initially. After signing the original contract in Bangkok,
Company takes responsibilities for necessary visa conversions and there after will apply
for the work permit.
11.HOLIDAY/ANNUAL-LEAVE/SICK LEAVE/TARDINESS:
There are 13-15 Thailand public holidays per year. You are not required to work on these
days.You are entitled to (30) days of paid leave for the contract period. You are
permitted upto (15) days paid sick-leave per year.
12.HIGHER EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP:
If you are interested in further education,Company sponsors 80% of the tuition fees.

My brother has got the same offer. We decided not to go ahead with it after consulting several people.

I have also received the same offer. I have made several calls there. From there talk itself I grew suspicious and have decided not to go forward with this offer. Else It would have been same to me like this guy.
